Tips for day-to-day use

Choose from the RGB lighting colors and modes to suit your desk setup. The backlight can be set to a steady display or a breathing effect, with brightness and breathing speed adjustable to your preference. This gives you control over the look of the keyboard during daytime work or evening gaming.

The compact layout is useful when desk space is shared between typing and mouse movement. For example, at a gaming desk, the smaller footprint leaves more surface available beside the keyboard, in a home office, it keeps a pared-down setup from being dominated by a full-size layout. The QWERTY arrangement provides a familiar typing pattern, while the 61-key format is the defining tradeoff for users who want to prioritize a smaller keyboard over a built-in number pad.

The circuit board is rated IPX4, but the interface is not waterproof. Keep that connection point clear of liquids when using the keyboard around food or drinks, and follow the instruction manual for its key operations.

Who it’s for

The TS91 is a practical fit for players and typists who want a wired, compact keyboard for a PC or home setup. Its stated compatibility also includes Mac, PS4, and Xbox One, giving it use across several listed platforms. The white finish and customizable RGB lighting can complement a coordinated gaming space, while the small layout suits desks where a number pad is not a priority.

A full-size keyboard may make more sense for a setup that depends on a dedicated number pad. The TS91 takes the compact-layout approach instead, keeping its 61 keys in a smaller footprint for everyday typing and gaming.

Should you buy it?

Choose the MageGee TS91 if a compact 60% layout, wired connection, and customizable RGB lighting match the way you use your desk. Its membrane switches provide a mechanical feel, and its IPX4-rated circuit board adds water resistance for everyday use—while the interface still needs to be kept dry.

Customer feedback highlights the compact size, ergonomic feel, and lighting options. Some buyers also mention the keyboard’s build and reliability positively, while opinions on noise are mixed, including reports of a squeaky spacebar. It makes sense if you want a small, backlit keyboard for gaming or typing and prefer to keep more desk space available rather than use a number pad.
