Loyoda LSS005 Folding Work Platform, Adjustable Aluminum Step Stool, 800 lb Capacity

Reach high shelves, paint a wall, or work around a vehicle with a stable place to stand and room for tools. The Loyoda LSS005 is a folding aluminum work platform with an adjustable height from 14" to 19.5". Its 12" x 31.5" deck gives you space to shift position while working. Individually adjustable legs help level the platform on uneven ground.

Practical tips

Set the platform where the task calls for extra reach, such as beside a garage shelf or along a wall you’re painting. Adjust each of the four legs as needed to level the deck on uneven terrain, including stairs or sloped surfaces. Before stepping up, make sure the platform is positioned securely and the legs are set for the surface. The adjustable range lets you choose a working height between 14" and 19.5", rather than relying on a single fixed height.

For tasks that involve supplies, the wide deck can hold tools within reach while you stand. That can be useful when washing a car, gardening, or handling home renovation work. For a quick job where a basic step stool is enough, a fixed-height design may suit the task, this platform is built for users who value a broader work surface and adjustable legs across different setups.

What you’ll notice day to day

The one-piece deck provides a continuous standing surface measuring 12" x 31.5". That extra room is practical when a job involves repositioning your feet or keeping a few tools nearby. The platform folds for storage and transport, so it can be put away between projects rather than occupying a work area all the time. Its aluminum construction is rust-resistant, making it a practical fit for garages, workshops, and other work settings.

Customers often describe the platform as sturdy and easy to handle, and they appreciate that it folds into a compact form. Some also mention using it in an RV. These comments reflect individual experiences, but they point to the same useful combination: a roomy deck for working and a foldable design for storing or moving the platform.

What matters most

The LSS005 combines adjustable height, individually adjustable legs, and an 800 lb maximum weight capacity in a single-platform design. Its maximum height is 19.5 inches, with adjustment available down to 14 inches. The wide deck and leg adjustments address different needs: standing space for hands-on work and a way to level the platform when the ground is uneven. Aluminum construction keeps the platform portable while its foldable legs make storage simpler.

This mix is especially relevant for recurring jobs that vary in location or setup. In a garage, for example, you can use the platform while reaching shelves, washing a car, or handling maintenance. For painting or renovation tasks, the broad deck gives you a place to stand and stage tools close by. Its listed uses also include industrial work and DIY projects.

Buying verdict

Choose the Loyoda LSS005 when a compact step stool doesn’t provide the work surface or height adjustment you need. Its 12" x 31.5" deck, 14"–19.5" adjustment range, and independently adjustable legs support a range of garage, home, and workshop tasks. The folding aluminum design adds convenient storage and transport, making this a useful platform for people who move between projects and need a stable place to work.
