Getting the most from it

Use the platform indoors when reaching high objects or outdoors for jobs such as car washing, painting, and gardening. The broad 32.7-inch platform gives you room to position yourself for hands-on tasks, while the adjustable height lets you choose a working level within its range. It can also serve as a seat for outdoor use. For example, when washing a vehicle in the garage, set the platform to a useful height and move it as you work around the car.

The aluminum construction keeps the unit portable, and the folding design makes it easier to store in a garage, home, or vehicle. Buyers often highlight its sturdy feel, easy handling, and compact fold, some also mention using it in an RV. These impressions reflect their experiences, while the product’s practical appeal comes from combining an adjustable platform with a fold-away frame.

Practical tips

The four legs adjust independently, so choose the setting that suits the task and make sure the platform is fully opened before use. Assembly is tool-free. Before stepping up, open the legs until the locks click audibly, then perform the recommended quick rocking test. These simple checks help confirm the platform is set up for use before you climb on.

After the task, fold the platform for storage or transport. Its 11.7-pound weight and compact folding form make it convenient to move between work areas, while the aluminum build and rust-resistant feature suit a range of household and outdoor jobs. Keep the platform close to the work rather than stretching to reach, reposition it as needed for the task.

When it makes sense

A fixed-height step stool can suit a single, familiar reach, but the LSS003 offers four height settings for jobs that call for different working levels. Its long platform is useful when a task involves moving along a surface, such as washing a car or painting, and the folding frame helps when storage space or portability matters. Choose it for a versatile step and work surface around the garage, home, garden, or vehicle, with adjustable height and a 500 lb capacity at its core.
