Loyoda Folding Work Platform, 500 lbs Capacity

If you only need a modest lift for cleaning or painting, a folding work platform can be easier to position than a taller ladder, the tradeoff is that its height range is limited. The Loyoda platform adjusts from 14 to 20 inches across four settings, so you can choose a working height for tasks like washing an RV or reaching a window. It folds with one touch and has a nylon carry handle, which is useful when the job moves from the garage to the driveway. Its stated 500 lbs capacity and non-slip details are relevant, but they don’t remove the need to use it on a stable surface.

Best use cases

This platform is aimed at jobs where a small boost and a place to stand are more practical than climbing a full-size ladder. For example, while cleaning an RV, you could unfold it near the side of the vehicle, set the height that suits the area, and move it along as you work. It is also described for home painting, window cleaning, car washing, decorating, and reaching high places. The adjustable height can help avoid working from a fixed-height stool that is either too low or awkwardly tall for the task.

It’s a great fit if you want a portable platform for occasional household or outdoor chores and prefer to carry one compact item between work areas. The folded dimensions are 17.51 x 13.39 x 6.69 inches, and the nylon handle gives you a way to transport it. From the way it is set up, its main advantage is convenience for low-to-mid reach tasks, not access to high ceilings or roof-level work.

Product specs

• Type: Folding work platform / adjustable step stool
• Material: Aluminum
• Capacity: 500 lbs
• Height settings: Four, adjustable from 14 to 20 inches
• Folded dimensions: 17.51 x 13.39 x 6.69 inches
• Surface and feet: Textured striped standing surface and non-slip foot pads
• Carry feature: Nylon handle

The platform is described as opening without assembly: unfold it and use it. Its surface texture and foot pads are intended to help with grip, including on wet or slippery floors, but that should not be read as a guarantee against slipping. Choose a firm, level spot and make sure the platform is fully opened before stepping on it. The product details don’t give a standing-surface size, so check whether its footprint will feel roomy enough for your work before choosing it.

Where it shines

The useful part here is the combination of adjustable height and fold-away storage. A basic fixed step stool may be simpler if you only need one height, while a taller ladder makes more sense when the job is well beyond a 20-inch platform. Loyoda sits between those approaches: it offers more height choice than a fixed stool, without taking the same approach as a tall ladder. The one-touch fold and carry handle also suit jobs where you need to reposition the platform rather than leave it set up in one place.

A practical detail to weigh is the height ceiling. Four settings provide some flexibility, but the maximum is 20 inches, so the platform won’t solve every reach problem. And although it folds down for storage, no product weight is listed, so there’s no basis here to judge how light it will feel to carry over a longer distance.

Is it worth it?

The Loyoda folding work platform makes sense when your regular jobs call for a stable-feeling boost, adjustable height, and easy storage in one unit. Its 500 lbs stated capacity, textured surface, non-slip foot pads, and four height settings address common buying concerns for a step platform. Still, capacity alone doesn’t establish how comfortable the standing area will be, and the listed height range rules it out for tasks that need substantial elevation. It’s not for you if you need a tall ladder, require a specified platform footprint, or want a listed product weight before deciding. For RV cleaning, window work, or painting within its reach, the fold-and-carry design is the feature that could make it more useful than a fixed stool.
