The red SOS strobe provides a signaling option in an emergency. The lantern’s built-in Type-C port can also charge a phone when needed.

Who it’s for

The C12 is useful for campers, hikers, and anyone putting together a home or vehicle emergency kit. Its compact body and 299 g weight make it practical to carry, while the 360° spread suits shared spaces better than a light intended mainly to illuminate one spot. At a campsite, place it on a table to light the surrounding area, or hang it overhead using the top handle or bottom hook.

Customer feedback often highlights the adjustable brightness, useful light output, and battery life, with people mentioning both camping and power outages as practical settings. Opinions on its size vary: some appreciate its compact form, while others expected a larger lantern.

How to use it

Use the large recessed buttons to select a color mode and brightness level, the memory function recalls the last setting. Set the lantern on a tabletop, carry it by its top handle, or hang it from the bottom hook to direct the light where it is useful. For charging, connect it through the Type-C port with the included USB-C to USB-C cable or a USB-A to USB-C cable. The charging adapter is not included. Its IP45 rating makes it suited to outdoor use where water resistance matters.

Is it worth it?

For outdoor trips and household backup, the C12 brings area lighting, adjustable color and brightness, a rechargeable battery, and emergency signaling together in one portable lantern. Choose it when the priority is illuminating a shared space—not just pointing a beam in one direction—and when a phone-charging port is a useful extra.
