LIVELYGLOW 8' x 10' Washable Area Rug, Low-Pile Medallion Print, Beige/Brown

Specifications

At 8' x 10', this rectangular rug is sized to cover a broad section of a living room, dining area, or bedroom. Its beige and brown vintage medallion print brings a traditional, distressed look to the space.

The knitted polyester construction has a low pile and a foldable design. That combination may suit rooms where a thinner rug is easier to live with than a plush, high-pile style.

• Size: 8' x 10' (rectangular)
• Material: Polyester
• Weave: Knitted
• Pile: Low pile
• Backing: Non-slip TPE
• Color: Beige/Brown

The surface is described as water repellent, and the rug is machine washable. Those details may appeal in busy areas where spills are a concern, though water repellent does not mean waterproof. The TPE backing is designed to help the rug stay in place on hardwood or tile, buyers who need extra grip for their particular floor can assess that need separately.

Usage tips

Consider the layout before choosing this size: an 8' x 10' rug can define a larger seating or dining area, while a smaller accent rug may be easier to place in a narrow entry or compact room. Its low profile is intended to let doors glide over it without snagging, making it a practical format for rooms with nearby doorways.

For routine care, the listing describes the rug as machine washable and its surface as water repellent. Follow the product’s care instructions for washing rather than assuming any cycle or drying method is suitable. The foldable construction can also help when the rug needs to be handled or stored. Customers describe it as soft and cushiony, and some say it is easy to clean and loses creases quickly, these are buyer impressions, not a guarantee of how it will perform in every home.

Worth considering if you want a large, patterned floor covering with a washable format and a low pile. It’s not for you if the main priority is a thick, high-pile feel: this rug is specifically described as ultra-thin and low pile. For a quieter, more neutral room, the beige and brown palette offers a different approach from a bold, high-contrast print.

Getting the most from it

After unfolding, give the rug time to settle and recover from creases, the product description says it is designed to lie flat quickly, but it does not specify an exact recovery time. Place it in the room where its pattern and footprint can work together rather than treating it as a small decorative accent. Its vintage floral medallion design is intended to complement traditional, farmhouse, or distressed decor, while the neutral color pairing can also add pattern without introducing bright colors.

Before you decide

Can this rug be machine washed? The product is described as machine washable. Check its care instructions before washing, since the available details do not specify a cycle or drying method.

Is the rug intended for use on hard floors? Its TPE backing is described as non-slip and designed for hardwood or tile. Buyers also mention that it stays secure, though floor conditions can affect how it behaves in a particular room.

What kind of look does the pattern create? The beige/brown rug has a vintage floral medallion design with Persian and Oriental influences and a distressed finish, rather than a plain solid-color appearance.

Should you buy it?

Choose this LIVELYGLOW rug if you need 8' x 10' coverage, prefer a low-pile surface, and want a vintage medallion pattern in beige and brown. Its washable format and water-repellent surface are useful considerations for rooms where everyday spills are possible. If your priority is a thick, plush rug, a higher-pile construction would better match that preference, if you want a broad, foldable layer with a traditional print, this one is more aligned with that need.
