Berlai Wood Slat Acoustic Wall Panels, 2-Pack, Pale Cherry, 21 mm

A room refresh can be as simple as changing the wall’s finish, while an echo-prone space may call for a surface that also helps absorb reflected sound. These wood slat panels bring both needs together in a modern wall treatment.

The set includes two Pale Cherry panels, each measuring 47.2 x 23.6 inches, with about 15.5 sq. ft. of coverage. Their wood-look slats add visible depth without requiring a full remodel.

A 9 mm black polyester felt backing helps reduce room echo, while the 12 mm MDF slats create a pronounced 3D profile. Use them to give a wall a more finished look and add an acoustic feature in the same installation.

Key takeaways

Each panel is 21 mm thick overall, combining the MDF slats and felt backing. The thicker profile makes the slats and shadow lines stand out, adding dimension to a plain wall. The black felt creates contrast between the slats and provides the sound-absorbing backing that helps reduce reflected sound.

The two-panel set covers about 15.5 sq. ft. and suits a range of spaces, including TV walls, bedrooms, living rooms, offices, studios, ceilings, and hallways. It offers a decorative wall update with an acoustic benefit, rather than treating the finish and room echo as separate concerns.

Fit and sizing

Each panel measures 47.2 x 23.6 inches, and the set contains two panels. Measure the wall area and plan the layout around its edges and openings to make the coverage work for your project. Pale Cherry gives the panels a light wood finish for a clean, contemporary look.

These panels can be installed vertically or horizontally. That flexibility helps adapt the slat direction to the wall and the visual layout you want. For a TV wall or feature area, the panels can define a focal point, across a broader surface, they can bring a consistent slatted finish to the room.

Practical tips

Plan the placement before mounting, especially around corners, outlets, and doors. The panels can be cut to fit those areas, making it easier to shape the installation to the wall. Mounting screws are included, suitable construction adhesive is another option depending on the wall type.

For example, a home office or studio wall can gain a warmer visual finish while the felt backing helps absorb reflected sound. In a living room or bedroom, the same combination can update a plain or dated surface without a full remodel. Choose the panel orientation to suit the wall and the look you want to create.

Is it worth it?

It makes sense if you want a wall treatment that pairs visible wood slats with a felt backing designed to help reduce echo. The 21 mm profile gives the finish noticeable depth, and the two-panel set offers a defined coverage area for planning a feature wall or another section of a room. For shoppers weighing a surface update against a larger renovation, these panels provide a focused way to change the room’s appearance and add an acoustic element in one project.
