Krifey Waterproof Dog Blanket 60" x 80

The waterproof inner layer is the main reason to consider this Krifey dog blanket: it’s designed to help keep spills, accidents, and moisture from reaching a couch or bed. Its reversible corduroy and sherpa fleece sides add a softer resting surface, so it can serve as both furniture protection and a cozy spot for a pet.

It’s also machine washable, which matters when a blanket is part of everyday life with dogs.

Quick sizing guide

At 60" x 80", this is a generously sized blanket, but the coverage you get depends on the shape of the furniture. Before choosing it for a particular sofa or bed, compare those dimensions with the area you want protected. Cushions, armrests, and the amount of overhang you prefer all affect how much furniture stays exposed. It can also be spread over a car seat for a ride, though the listing doesn’t give a separate fit or restraint design for vehicle use.

It’s a great fit if you want one washable layer that can move between a pet’s resting place and shared furniture. The reversible textures also give you two surfaces to use, rather than a single-purpose waterproof mat. Without having tried it, the practical tradeoff is clear: it’s a blanket you arrange, not a fitted cover that stays anchored to every contour.

Pros

• The listing describes a waterproof inner shield intended to block moisture from reaching furniture.
• Reversible corduroy and sherpa fleece provide two different textures for everyday use.
• Machine washable construction makes routine cleanup more straightforward.
• The 60" x 80" format can cover a broad section of a bed or couch, depending on its layout.
• The product description states that the materials are OEKO-TEX certified and the stitching is reinforced.

Would a basic throw handle the same job? It may cover fur, but this blanket’s stated waterproof layer is the more relevant feature when spills or accidents are part of the concern. On the other hand, a fitted furniture protector is a better direction if you need coverage that follows the shape of a sofa and is less likely to shift when a pet moves around.

Buying verdict

It may not suit you if you need a fitted, edge-to-edge sofa cover, a non-slip base, or detailed care and waterproofing specifications before buying, those features aren’t stated here. For a practical home setup, picture spreading it across the couch before a dog settles in for an evening nap, then moving it to a bed or washing it after a mess. That flexible use is the appeal, especially for homes with large breeds or multiple pets, as the product is presented for both.

Choose it when a soft, reversible blanket with a stated moisture barrier is more useful than a basic throw, and its dimensions match the area you want covered. If keeping a cover firmly in place matters more than having a movable blanket, a fitted protector is the more suitable approach.
