Kidpet HC2025 Silicone Hair Catcher, 3-Pack, Anti-Clog Drain Strainer

Made from silicone, the Kidpet HC2025 hair catcher comes as a three-piece set in gray, blue, and pink. Its basket-style design sits in the drain to collect hair and pet fur while water passes through the openings, helping keep strands from entering the plumbing.

Place one in a compatible drain without tools, then remove it to clear away the collected hair and rinse it. The set is suited to everyday bathroom use and can also help catch fur during a dog bath.

Highlights

The HC2025 combines a flexible silicone catcher with an in-drain basket shape. That setup gives hair a place to gather at the drain rather than relying on a flat cover alone. The openings are designed to let water flow through as the catcher collects hair, and the weighted, bowl-shaped base is intended to help it stay positioned over the drain.

The three colors offer a simple way to distinguish catchers around the home or coordinate them with different spaces. Use one in a bathtub or shower, or place one in a suitable sink or floor drain. The manufacturer describes the product for bathroom, kitchen, and laundry-room drains, with a listed compatible groove diameter of 2 inches.

Fit and sizing

This catcher is intended for round drains, with 2 inches listed as its compatible groove diameter. Check the drain’s groove when choosing a hair catcher, since the way a basket sits inside the opening affects how it fits and collects hair. For a bathtub or shower used by someone with long hair, keeping the catcher in place during regular washing provides a collection point for strands before they reach the drain.

Getting the most from it

Set the catcher into the corresponding drain, then lift it out when hair has gathered. Peel the hair away and rinse the silicone before returning it to use. Want one drain accessory to serve a pet-bathing routine as well? The product is also presented as a pet-hair catcher, making it useful in a tub where fur can wash toward the drain.

Compared with a simple cover that rests over the opening, this basket-style design sits in the drain and collects hair in its interior. That approach is worth considering when the goal is to gather hair for removal rather than just cover the drain. Customer feedback often praises its hair-catching ability, fit, and straightforward placement. Opinions are more mixed on how securely it stays put, how easy it is to clean, and how quickly water drains, views on size also vary. These differences make the drain’s fit and the way water moves through it useful factors to consider in daily use.

Buying verdict

Kidpet HC2025 is a practical choice for households looking for a removable silicone catcher for bathroom hair or pet fur. Its three-color set, tool-free placement, and basket-style collection make it a straightforward addition to a bathtub or compatible shower drain, with additional use in other suitable household drains.
