KGOSAUO clear tarps with grommets 10x10 ft Clear Vinyl Tarp, 14-Mil

The 14-mil clear vinyl lets natural light through while creating a waterproof barrier against rain, making this tarp useful when a covered space still needs daylight and visibility.

At 10x10 ft, it can serve as a patio cover, greenhouse cover, or protective screen for a chicken coop. Aluminum grommets around the edges provide fastening points for securing the tarp with the included rope or suitable hooks.

Would an opaque tarp block too much of the view or sunlight for your setup? This clear design offers a practical alternative for spaces where seeing through the cover matters.

Key features

The tarp is made from 14-mil vinyl and has a heat-sealed construction, reinforced edges with six-needle stitching, and reinforced corners. These details support everyday covering tasks where the material needs to be fastened in place. The rust-resistant aluminum-alloy grommets are spaced every 17–20 inches, giving you multiple attachment points along the edges.

With 99% light transmission, the clear material helps preserve access to natural light while keeping the covered area protected from rain and wind. It is also described as UV-resistant and waterproof, with a stated operating temperature range of -32°F to 176°F (-30°C to 80°C). Use it as a transparent alternative to an opaque tarp when visibility and daylight are part of the job.

Buyers commonly praise the tarp’s clarity, thickness, and durability, and some describe it as useful for reducing wind exposure on a patio. Some also report that the tarp’s measurements differ from the advertised size, so measure the space you plan to cover before choosing a tarp for a close fit.

Getting the most from it

For a secure setup, use the grommets along the perimeter to fasten the tarp with the included rope or compatible hooks. Distributing the tie-downs along the edges helps make use of the available attachment points, whether you are covering a patio opening, a plant area, or another sheltered space. Its foldable construction also makes it practical to store between temporary uses.

How to use it

Choose a support surface or frame that suits your intended application, then align the tarp so the clear panel covers the area you want to protect. Fasten it through the grommets using the included rope or hooks, keeping the cover positioned over the exposed opening. For a greenhouse or plant shelter, the transparent vinyl allows light through, for a patio or porch, it can provide a clear barrier while preserving the view. The same format can also be used for a chicken coop, balcony, campsite, or temporary cover.
