At a glance

This is a braided fishing line with a 50 lb breaking strength and a 1,097-yard length. The four-strand construction has a round, smooth design intended to support casting, and its low-memory feel makes the line easier to handle. Its small diameter relative to its pound test helps keep the line profile compact, while the low-stretch construction is designed to improve sensitivity and support firm hooksets. Abrasion resistance and knot strength are also highlighted features.

Customer feedback often praises the line’s strength and smooth casting, with some anglers also noting that it spools smoothly. Experiences with durability vary, and some buyers report color fading or transfer onto hands and gear. That feedback is useful to consider when choosing a line color for your fishing setup.

Fit and sizing

The 50 lb option comes in X4-Low-Vis Gray and measures 1,097 yards. It suits anglers looking for a braided line with substantial stated breaking strength and a long length for filling a spool or keeping line on hand. If you are choosing between braid and a more stretch-focused line, the near-zero-stretch design is the defining difference here: it favors sensitivity and direct connection when detecting bites and setting the hook.

Best use cases

KastKing lists this braid for freshwater and saltwater fishing, including surf, ice, trout, and bass fishing. Its smooth, round profile is intended to help line travel during casts, making it a practical choice when casting distance is part of your approach. Low memory supports easier handling, while the sensitive, zero-stretch construction can help you notice activity at the line and respond with a decisive hookset.
