Joypony 9 oz PPSU Sippy Straw Cups, Blue 2-Pack with Weighted Straw
Product description
Caregivers looking for a straw cup for babies and toddlers can choose this Joypony 2-pack for everyday drinking. Each cup has a 9 oz capacity and a weighted straw designed to help little ones sip from different angles. The PPSU body is BPA-free, and the set is blue. Its fold-back lid and spill-resistant design make it practical for daily routines.
Strengths
A four-layer anti-leak design helps keep drinks contained, including when the cup is inverted. That makes it useful for mealtimes, playtime, and carrying a drink around the home. The weighted straw has a gravity ball at its end, so a child can sip while seated or lying down without needing to hold the cup at a particular angle. For caregivers comparing a basic open cup with a straw cup, what makes this design convenient? The weighted straw supports sipping from more positions, while the lid folds back 180 degrees and locks in place to stay away from a child’s face during use.
The cup is made from PPSU, a BPA-free material described as heat-resistant and suitable for repeated high-temperature sterilization. Its sturdy construction is intended for active everyday use. A soft liquid silicone straw is gentle on delicate gums, and its V-shaped valve supports smooth water flow. Replaceable straws also provide a practical way to refresh a part that gets regular use.
The essentials
The cups are intended for babies and toddlers from 6 to 36 months. Their 9 oz capacity suits serving water or another drink, while the weighted straw helps children practice sipping as they build independence and coordination. The two-cup format is useful for keeping one available at home while using the other elsewhere, or for having a second cup ready for a different routine.
Assembly and disassembly are designed to be straightforward. The wide neck and smaller number of parts make the cup easier to reach when cleaning, and taking it apart gives access to components that need regular washing. For sterilizing, the PPSU material is described as able to withstand repeated high-temperature sterilization. Follow the care instructions provided with the product when cleaning or sterilizing its parts.
Getting the most from it
Set the cup within easy reach during meals or supervised practice so a child can learn to hold it and sip independently. The weighted end of the straw helps keep the drinking end positioned in the liquid as the cup moves, which is useful when a child changes posture. After use, disassemble the cup for cleaning and let its parts dry before reassembly. The lid can fold back and lock open for drinking, then close over the straw between uses.
The replaceable silicone straw makes it possible to refresh the drinking part while continuing to use the cup. For families choosing between a simple straw cup and one designed for changing angles, the weighted straw and locking lid are practical details to consider alongside the 9 oz capacity and two-cup format.
