JOYO JMH-02 Studio Monitor Headphones, 50mm Drivers, Closed-Back Design

Choose headphones for casual listening or for hearing a mix with a more even balance. The JOYO JMH-02 is designed for studio monitoring, with 50mm drivers and a flat-response sound profile. Its over-ear, closed-back design helps reduce outside noise through passive isolation. Use it for recording, mixing, guitar amp practice, or podcast sessions.

Size & fit

The JMH-02 uses an over-ear fit, with soft earcups and a self-adjusting headband to make it practical for recording and practice sessions. The adjustable design accommodates different head sizes, while the enclosed earcups sit around the ears rather than on them. At 300 g, it has a listed weight you can factor in when choosing headphones for regular studio use.

For a home recording setup, connect the headphones to an audio interface or mixer and monitor vocals or an instrument while working at the desk. The closed-back design provides passive noise isolation, which helps keep listening focused and can reduce headphone sound bleeding into a microphone. This is physical isolation from the earcups, not electronic active noise cancellation.

Strengths

The 50mm drivers and flat-response tuning are aimed at monitoring rather than adding an emphasized bass character. That makes the JMH-02 a useful fit when you want to listen for the balance of a mix, check a guitar or keyboard sound, or monitor a podcast recording. The over-ear closed-back construction supports focused listening in a shared room or practice space.

A 3-meter cable gives you room to move around a studio or practice area, and the included 3.5mm and 6.35mm adapters let you connect to equipment with either headphone jack size. The wired connection suits a straightforward setup with recording gear, an amp, a computer, or a compatible phone. The cable is detachable, so it can be removed from the headphones when needed.

Buyers often highlight clear sound and the soft feel of the earcups and headband, with some describing the headphones as comfortable for extended listening. Feedback on build quality is mixed, so those comments are best treated as individual impressions rather than a promise of a particular experience.
