E-Z Ink TN221 TN225 Compatible Toner Cartridges, 5-Pack for Brother Printers

Keep a compatible Brother color laser printer ready for everyday documents with this E-Z Ink TN221/TN225 toner set. It includes two black cartridges and one each of cyan, magenta, and yellow, giving you a replacement for every color channel plus an extra black cartridge.

The cartridges are listed for Brother HL, MFC, and DCP laser printer models, including the HL-3170CDW, MFC-9130CW, and DCP-9020CDN. Match your printer’s model to the compatibility list before ordering.

If you’re replenishing several colors at once, this five-cartridge set provides a different approach from buying one replacement cartridge at a time. Its mix of black and color toner suits a printer used for both text-heavy documents and color pages.

Tips for day-to-day use

Before replacing toner, identify your printer model and check that it appears in the compatible-device list. The set is designed for Brother HL-3140CW, HL-3150CW, HL-3170CDW, HL-3142CW, HL-3152CDW, HL-3172CDW, MFC-9140CDN, MFC-9130CW, MFC-9330CDW, MFC-9340CDW, and DCP-9020CDN laser printers. This helps you select cartridges for the printer you actually use rather than relying on a similar model name.

The package contains two black TN221 cartridges and one each of the TN225 cyan, magenta, and yellow cartridges. That combination is useful when black printing is frequent but color toner also needs replenishing. For example, a home office can keep text documents moving while having the three color cartridges on hand for pages that use color.

What you’ll notice day to day

The refined toner powder is intended for printing text and images on plain paper. The listed page yield is 2,500 pages per black cartridge and 2,200 pages per color cartridge, based on 5% page coverage. Actual page use depends on how much toner each document requires, so graphics-heavy pages may use toner differently from mostly text-based printing.

Buyer feedback is positive about ease of installation and compatibility for many users, while experiences with print and color results vary. Some buyers report crisp, clean output, others describe disappointing print quality or difficulty printing in color, including cases where a printer did not recognize the magenta cartridge. These reports make it especially useful to check your printer model and confirm operation after installing each cartridge.
