E-Z Ink DR420 Drum Unit 2-Pack, 12,000-Page Yield per Unit

When a compatible Brother laser printer needs a replacement drum unit, this E-Z Ink DR420 two-pack provides two black drum units for ongoing print maintenance. Each unit has a stated yield of 12,000 pages at 5% coverage. It is a drum replacement, not a toner cartridge, so you can choose the component your printer needs.

Who it’s for

This pack is for owners of compatible Brother laser printers who need DR420 drum units. It covers a range of DCP, HL, MFC, and Intellifax models, including the HL-2270DW, HL-2280DW, MFC-7360N, and MFC-7860DW. If you are shopping for a drum rather than toner, the product’s DR420 designation and printer compatibility list help you match the replacement to your device.

The two-unit pack is useful for keeping a second drum on hand or purchasing replacements together. Each drum is rated for 12,000 pages under the stated 5% coverage condition, giving you a clear reference point when planning supply needs. Actual page counts can vary with print coverage, so the yield is best treated as a rating rather than a guaranteed count for every job.

Where it shines

A drum unit and a toner cartridge are different printer components. This product replaces the drum unit, the toner cartridge is not included. That distinction matters when comparing replacement supplies: choose this pack when you need DR420 drums, rather than a toner-only replacement. For a home office or workplace using one of the listed printers, having two drum units in the same pack also makes it easier to plan for a later replacement without selecting a different format.

The compatibility range includes several printer families, so check your exact model against the list before ordering. Supported devices include Brother DCP-7060D, DCP-7065D, HL-2130, HL-2132, HL-2220, HL-2230, HL-2240, HL-2240D, HL-2242D, HL-2250DN, HL-2270DW, HL-2280DW, Intellifax 2840, Intellifax 2940, MFC-7240, MFC-7360N, MFC-7365DN, MFC-7460DN, and MFC-7860DW. For example, someone maintaining an HL-2270DW can use the model list to identify this DR420 replacement and distinguish it from a toner cartridge.
