Indoor Thermometer and Humidity Meter with Bluetooth

If you only need a quick room reading, a basic thermometer may be enough. This Bluetooth indoor thermometer adds humidity tracking, app-based monitoring, and alerts for set temperature or humidity limits, which is more useful when you want to keep an eye on conditions from across a home, office, or greenhouse.

It also offers Guest Mode, so the app can be used without providing an email or personal details. That privacy-minded setup is a practical plus, though the readings and alerts still depend on using the mobile app.

Highlights

The sensor updates every 10 seconds, giving you more frequent readings than a simple display you have to check in person. You can set safe zones in the app and see a visual notification when conditions move outside them. The description specifies that these cues are accessible by launching the app, so don’t assume they arrive as automatic phone notifications.

Bluetooth coverage is listed as up to 250 ft in line of sight, with LOW, MID, and STRONG signal settings available in the interface. That gives you some control over the connection, but walls and the layout of a property may affect how useful the stated range is in your own space. The device also has a photovoltaic panel that collects ambient light to supplement its internal power, the maker lists battery life of up to 12 months.

How to use it

Set the thermometer where you want to monitor indoor conditions, then use the mobile interface to view temperature and humidity readings and choose the safe zones that matter to you. For example, in a greenhouse, you could check the app before adjusting the space after a noticeable change in conditions. In an office or home, it offers a way to monitor a room without walking over to a separate display each time.

Guest Mode means you can start using the app without signing up with an email, according to the maker. Keep in mind that the alert cues are viewed by opening the app, which may not suit anyone who needs a notification that actively interrupts what they’re doing.

Practical tips

Place it where the readings are relevant to your decision, rather than assuming one sensor represents every room. If you’re checking a space from farther away, the listed range is line of sight, test the connection in the intended location and adjust the signal setting if needed. The product description doesn’t specify a display, mounting method, or an exact battery type, so those details shouldn’t be assumed when planning placement or upkeep.

It suits you if you want temperature and humidity readings together, configurable safe zones, and app access without mandatory email sign-up. Not the best choice if you want an always-visible readout or alerts that are confirmed to appear without opening the app. Compared with a basic standalone thermometer, this model emphasizes remote checks and adjustable alerts, a simpler device may be a better fit if you only need an at-a-glance reading.

Before you decide

Does it measure humidity as well as temperature? Yes. The product is described as an indoor thermometer and humidity meter, with a humidity sensor.

Do you need to create an account? The listed Guest Mode is intended to let you use the app without sharing an email or personal details.

How far can it connect? The stated Bluetooth coverage is up to 250 ft in line of sight. Actual connection usefulness can depend on the path between the sensor and your phone.

When it makes sense

Choose this thermometer if you’ll use the app to check both temperature and humidity, set limits, and monitor a room from a distance. Its privacy-focused Guest Mode and ambient-light-assisted power approach may also appeal if you prefer fewer setup steps and less frequent battery attention. Skip it if your priority is a simple, continuously visible reading or alerts that reach you without opening an app, those needs aren’t established by the product details.
