ICEPURE RWF0600A Refrigerator Water Filter, 3-Pack, NSF/ANSI 42 & 372

Made with natural coconut shell activated carbon and a BPA-free, food-grade housing, the ICEPURE RWF0600A is a three-pack of replacement refrigerator water filters for compatible GE MWF systems. Its filtration layer is 0.5 micron, and the filter is certified to NSF/ANSI 42 and 372 for aesthetic impurity reduction and lead-free material requirements.

Use it to refresh the water and ice supplied by a compatible refrigerator. If your priority is replacing an existing MWF-style cartridge, this filter offers a direct replacement approach, if you are choosing a filter for a different appliance, matching the refrigerator’s filter type is the practical first step.

What matters most

The filter is designed to reduce chlorine, taste, odor, particles, THMs, VOCs, and other listed impurities while retaining healthy minerals. That combination is useful for everyday drinking water and ice, where chlorine taste or odor can affect the finished drink. Independent third-party testing also found reductions in heavy metals including mercury, copper, cadmium, and chromium.

A stated flow rate of 0.50 GPM supports filling a cup or pitcher as part of a regular kitchen routine. The multi-dimensional sealing design is intended to provide a secure fit and help prevent leaks. The three-pack gives you replacement cartridges for successive filter changes, rather than just a single changeout.

Compatibility includes MWF, MWFINT, MWFP, MWFA, GWF, GWFA, GWF01, GWF06, and FMG-1, along with listed alternatives such as Kenmore 46-9991 and Tier1 RWF1060. Check the model printed on your current filter or refrigerator before installing a replacement so you select a matching cartridge.

Care tips

Installation is designed to be tool-free, and the pack includes instructions and installation stickers to guide the changeout. Follow the provided instructions when fitting a new cartridge, and make sure it is seated securely before using the refrigerator’s filtered water or ice.

Replace the filter every 6 months or after 300 gallons, according to the product’s replacement guidance. Keeping to that schedule helps maintain the intended filtration for day-to-day use. The same routine can be useful in a home kitchen, apartment, office, or vacation home where the refrigerator’s compatible filter is used regularly.

Who it’s for

This replacement is for people with a compatible refrigerator who want a three-pack of MWF-style filters and value chlorine, taste, and odor reduction alongside certified lead-free materials. It suits households that use refrigerator-dispensed water and ice, as well as shared kitchen spaces where a dependable replacement schedule is helpful.

Worth considering if you want a coconut-shell activated carbon filter with documented reduction claims and a defined flow rate, rather than choosing a cartridge based only on its appearance. Its practical fit is determined by the refrigerator’s filter compatibility, so matching the existing MWF-family cartridge makes this a straightforward replacement choice.

Final verdict

The ICEPURE RWF0600A combines a 0.5-micron filtration layer, NSF/ANSI 42 and 372 certification, and a 0.50 GPM stated flow rate in a convenient three-pack. For compatible GE MWF-style refrigerators, it provides a clear replacement option for everyday filtered water and ice, with installation guidance and a simple six-month or 300-gallon change schedule.
