HW HAOWORKS S98 Voice Amplifier, 50W Peak Portable PA with UHF Headset Mic

Some sessions call for hands-free voice projection, while others need a speaker that can also play lesson audio or music. The HW HAOWORKS S98 combines a portable PA speaker with a wireless headset microphone, giving teachers, trainers, and presenters a flexible setup for classrooms, instruction, meetings, and small events.

Its UHF headset mic lets you speak while keeping your hands free to demonstrate, write, or lead a group. Bluetooth 5.3, USB, TF card, and AUX inputs also give you several ways to play audio through the speaker.

Key points

The S98 is rated at 50W peak and 40W RMS. Pair its speaker with the included UHF wireless headset mic to address a group without holding a microphone. The wireless mic has a range of up to 65 ft in open areas, which can help you move around a classroom or training space as you speak. It can be worn as a headset or around the neck, or used handheld, so you can choose a format that suits the session.

For playback, Bluetooth 5.3 supports music streaming, while USB, TF card, and AUX connections offer additional options for lesson tracks, presentations, and other audio. The 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch microphone inputs add wired mic connection choices. A rechargeable 3000mAh battery provides 5–8 hours of use depending on volume, making the system suitable for cordless sessions. Buyers often highlight the clear, loud sound, Bluetooth connection, portability, and ease of use, feedback on battery life is mixed, so plan around the session length and volume you need.

Compared with a compact personal amplifier, the S98 adds multiple playback and microphone connections. Compared with a full-size PA setup, its portable speaker-and-headset format is suited to everyday instruction and smaller events where a carryable system is useful.

Size & fit

The speaker weighs 3.26 lbs and measures 5.5" L x 3.5" W x 7.1" H. Its compact body and included shoulder strap make it practical to carry between rooms or set up on a tabletop or floor. The metallic metal enclosure gives the unit a defined, durable-style housing, while its portable format keeps the focus on voice projection rather than a large installed sound system.

The S98 is designed for teachers, fitness instructors, trainers, tour guides, meeting leaders, and presenters who need to address a group while moving. It can also play music or lesson audio, making it useful when a session combines spoken instruction with playback.

Usage tips

Choose the headset, neck-worn, or handheld mic position that works for your activity, and keep the speaker positioned for the room. The stated wireless mic range is up to 65 ft in open areas. Connect a phone or other playback source over Bluetooth, or use AUX, USB, or TF card for audio. The rechargeable battery’s 5–8-hour playback estimate depends on volume, so consider the planned session and sound level when preparing. A charger is not included, the product information recommends using a standard 5V/9V phone charger or adapter.

Is it worth it?

It makes sense if you want one portable system for voice amplification and audio playback, rather than choosing a speech-only setup or a larger PA arrangement. The included wireless headset helps keep your hands available during lessons, coaching, and presentations, while the range of input options supports different ways to play supporting audio. For instructors and presenters moving between classrooms, training spaces, and small events, the S98 brings those everyday needs together in a compact speaker format.
