Homemory HPILLAR Outdoor Flameless LED Candles, 4 x 10-Inch, Remote, Set of 2

At 4 inches wide and 10 inches tall, each Homemory HPILLAR candle is sized for a large decorative lantern or a tabletop display. The dark ivory plastic body gives you a flameless alternative to a traditional pillar candle.

The set includes two candles and a remote. Each candle needs three AA batteries, which are not included.

A warm yellow LED can flicker or glow steadily, and the remote offers brightness adjustment and 2-, 4-, 6-, or 8-hour timer settings. The listed timer repeats on a 24-hour cycle.

Benefits

The main appeal is combining a tall lantern-friendly shape with remote controls. Once the candles are placed inside a lantern or elsewhere that is awkward to reach, the remote can change the light mode and brightness without handling each candle. The timer is useful for a regular evening display: choose a duration, and the candles are listed to turn on again at the same time the following day. They can also be switched on or off using the switch on the bottom.

The plastic construction and LED light avoid an open flame, smoke, and wax melting, according to the product details. That makes this format worth considering for a decorative setting where a real candle would be inconvenient. The two matching pieces can be used together in a pair of lanterns or grouped on a table for a gathering, their 4-by-10-inch dimensions are the practical fit check before choosing a spot.

Worth noting

The advertised outdoor use and waterproof rating are not a guarantee of trouble-free performance in every setup. Buyer feedback includes reports of water getting inside, along with mixed experiences with durability and reliability. If the candles will be exposed to rain, those concerns matter, a covered lantern or a more sheltered placement is the more cautious approach. Buyers also describe mixed results with the remote, even though it is included in the listed package.

Batteries are another purchase detail: the set needs six AA batteries in total, and they are not included. It makes sense if you want a pair of large, battery-operated lantern candles with adjustable light and a repeating timer. You may want to skip it if dependable performance in exposed, wet conditions is your priority.

Best use cases

These candles are suited to decorative lighting in lanterns, on a tabletop, or at events such as garden parties and weddings. The remote and timer are especially relevant when the display is placed somewhere difficult to reach or when you want a recurring evening glow. Compared with a basic flameless candle controlled only at the base, this set adds remote adjustments and scheduled operation. A real candle offers a different look and flame, but these LEDs avoid an open flame and melting wax.

The product listing describes the candles as weatherproof and suitable for outdoor use, while buyer accounts raise concerns about water resistance. For an indoor display or a protected outdoor spot, the dimensions and controls may be more useful than for a location regularly exposed to rain. Check the lantern’s interior space against the candle’s 4-inch width and 10-inch height before setting up the pair.

Final verdict

Homemory’s HPILLAR set is most compelling when you need tall, matching flameless candles for lanterns or event décor and will use the remote, brightness settings, or timer. Its practical trade-offs are the extra batteries and reports from some buyers of water ingress, remote problems, or inconsistent operation. For an exposed outdoor location where waterproof performance is essential, those reports make this a less reassuring fit, for a sheltered decorative display, its size and control options are the stronger reasons to consider it.
