Growalleter DY-FXSW001 Ocean Wave Projector Light, 16 Colors, Remote
Product description
What to know
For a bedroom or another indoor space that needs softer ambient lighting, the Growalleter DY-FXSW001 combines shifting water-ripple effects with color and mode choices. Select from 16 colors and four lighting modes: Breath, Flicker, Smooth, and Static. Its adjustable 360° projection creates a moving ocean-inspired glow, while the included remote lets you change colors, modes, and brightness from where you’re relaxing. A memory function restores the previous settings when the light is turned on again.
The cube-shaped acrylic lamp is designed for tabletop placement and measures 4.4 inches on each side. It runs on corded USB power, so it stays on without charging interruptions as long as it remains plugged in. The manufacturer describes its operation as under 10 decibels, a quiet profile suited to a bedroom or evening wind-down routine. Compared with a fixed-color night-light, its shifting projection and selectable modes offer more ways to shape the room’s atmosphere.
Customer feedback often highlights the vivid colors, relaxing ambience, and range of lighting effects. Reports about reliability are mixed: while some buyers say it works well, others describe the movement motor stopping after a period of use. That feedback is worth keeping in mind when choosing a lamp whose moving ripple effect is a central part of its appeal.
Who it’s for
This projector suits people who want decorative lighting they can adjust without getting up to reach the lamp. The remote, color selection, and motion modes make it easy to shift from a more animated look to a steadier glow. It can also add an ocean-inspired visual accent to a gaming area, desk, or streaming background. Its indoor tabletop design keeps placement straightforward: set it on a stable surface and connect it to USB power.
Best use cases
Use the DY-FXSW001 as an ambient bedroom light for relaxing in the evening, or as a decorative accent when a room could use color and movement rather than a standard bedside glow. For meditation or yoga, choose a color and mode that suits the atmosphere you want, for a calmer nighttime setting, the Static mode offers a non-changing alternative to the moving effects. The adjustable projection is also useful for adding visual texture to a desk setup or background. Keep the lamp in a dry indoor location, since it is not water resistant.
