HBTower TJ042JAH 2-Step Aluminum Folding Ladder, Wide Anti-Slip Pedal

Some household tasks need a little extra reach, others call for equipment that stores neatly between uses. The HBTower TJ042JAH is a lightweight, two-step aluminum ladder with a wide, anti-slip pedal. It opens quickly for use around the home, kitchen, or office. When the task is done, it folds down for compact storage.

What matters most

The wide pedal gives you a more substantial stepping surface, with raised lines designed to help reduce slipping. A triangular frame supports the ladder, while rubber feet make full contact with the ground and help protect floors from scratches. Its maximum load capacity is 330 pounds, making it suited to everyday household tasks such as reaching upper kitchen cabinets or retrieving items from a shelf.

The aluminum construction weighs 6.7 pounds, so it can be carried from room to room. Unlike a fixed step stool that stays out between jobs, this folding design can be put away after use. Customers also highlight its sturdy feel, practical function, and convenient size, with several noting that it works well in kitchens and stores compactly.

Usage tips

The ladder arrives fully assembled and can be opened or folded in seconds. Before stepping up, open it for use and make sure the rubber feet are in contact with the ground. The two-step layout provides a straightforward way to add reach for routine indoor tasks, while the wide pedal offers room to place your foot securely. Follow the stated 330-pound maximum load capacity when choosing what to carry or do while using it.

Everyday use

Keep it nearby for kitchen cabinets, household storage, or office tasks that require a modest boost in reach. Its lightweight build makes moving it between rooms manageable, and the folding frame helps keep it out of the way when the job is finished. The folded profile measures 25.2 x 16.5 x 2.2 inches, so it can fit in a cabinet, under a bed, or beside a wall. When it is not being used as a step ladder, it can also serve as a plant stand.

The black-and-woodgrain finish gives the ladder a distinct look for spaces where it may remain visible. For shoppers choosing between a compact folding step stool and a larger ladder for more extensive reach, this model focuses on everyday household access and easy storage rather than a taller setup.
