Halo Sport HB-008 Laser Tag Set, 6 Blasters and Vests, 4 Modes, LCD Displays

Some play gifts are designed for a quiet solo activity, others bring everyone together for an active game. The Halo Sport HB-008 Laser Tag Set gives a group six blasters and six sensor vests for team play indoors or outdoors.

LCD displays on the blasters and vests show player status, while team and life data sync between them. Four weapon modes add different ways to play, with lights, sounds, and vibration as part of the action.

Would a game that keeps score visible and lets players switch strategies make group play easier to follow? The set is designed for kids ages 8 and up, with adjustable vest straps to help players get ready for a match.

Strengths

With six blasters and six sensor vests, the set is made for group play rather than taking turns with a single toy. Players can choose among up to four teams, and the game supports unlimited players. Halo Sport sets are described as compatible with one another, giving groups a way to expand play with additional sets.

The LCD life indicators on the guns and vests make player status easy to check during a match. Team selectors help organize sides, and the linked life and team information keeps those details in sync. Four weapon modes—Pistol, Automatic, Laser, and Rocket Launcher—each bring their own sound effects and play style, so players can change tactics as the game progresses.

The blasters also use lights, sounds, and vibration for hit feedback. A range of up to 125 feet supports play in settings such as a backyard, park, or open indoor space. Customer feedback often highlights family fun and ease of use, opinions on battery life and sound level are mixed.

Tips for day-to-day use

Before play, install the required AAA batteries, select teams on the blasters and vests, and adjust the neck and waist straps for each player. A backyard, park, or open indoor area gives players room to move while staying within the stated range. The LCD displays let players check their status during the game instead of relying only on sound or lights.

For a larger group, additional compatible Halo Sport sets can extend the game. The four weapon modes offer a simple way to vary each match: players can pick a style at the start, then switch modes to change how they approach the next round.

Buying verdict

This six-player kit suits families and groups looking for an active game with coordinated gear, visible player status, and several ways to play. Compared with a basic setup focused on a single mode, its four blaster modes and synced LCD information give teams more variety and make match details easier to track. The included six blasters and six vests make it a practical fit for birthdays, family game nights, and outdoor group play for kids ages 8 and up.
