Soopotay T-388 Rechargeable Kids’ Walkie Talkies, 3-Pack with VOX and Flashlight

For a backyard treasure hunt, three kids can split into teams and keep in touch with a walkie talkie for each player. The Soopotay T-388 set is rechargeable and includes three units, so play can begin without taking turns sharing a pair.

Each radio offers up to 3 miles of talking range in open areas. That gives kids room to explore a campsite, yard, or neighborhood while staying connected within the stated range.

Choose this set when the goal is group play and outdoor exploring, a two-radio set may suit a pair, while this three-pack gives a third child their own device.

Worth noting

The built-in 2,000mAh rechargeable batteries are rated for up to 72 hours of playtime and 7 days on standby. Three USB-C charging cables are included, one for each walkie talkie. An automatic power-off feature activates after about 1.5 hours of inactivity to help conserve battery during pauses in play.

The set has 22 channels, volume control, and automatic noise reduction to support clear communication. VOX mode enables hands-free communication, while the keypad lock helps prevent accidental setting changes during active play. A built-in flashlight adds a useful feature for indoor forts, backyard games, and camping activities. The included belt clips keep the radios within easy reach while kids move around.

Buyers frequently highlight the clear sound, playful colors, and appeal for imaginative games. Those comments reflect individual experiences, while the set’s three radios and hands-free mode make it particularly suited to shared adventures.

Best use cases

This three-pack works well for siblings or friends who want to coordinate a game without calling across the yard. Assign each child a radio for pretend missions, hide-and-seek, or a campsite activity. For a more contained indoor game, children can use the radios room to room, for open-air play, the stated maximum range is up to 3 miles, with actual communication depending on the setting.

The flashlight can add to evening games or indoor forts, and the belt clip helps keep a radio close during active play. The moisture-resistant designation suits everyday adventures where light moisture may be part of the setting.

Everyday use

With one unit per child, the set makes it easier to keep a group involved in the same game. VOX mode is useful when hands are busy with a scavenger hunt or pretend expedition, and the keypad lock helps keep settings from changing accidentally as children handle the radios. The display and battery-strength indicator provide at-a-glance information during play.

For a simple routine, charge the radios using the included USB-C cables, clip them on before heading outside, and use the channel and volume controls to get the group ready. Automatic shutoff helps conserve power when play pauses and a radio is left idle.
