SOFITEN Automatic Foam Dart Blaster with Flashlight, Foldable Stock and Vest

Choosing a foam blaster can mean prioritizing a simple toy for occasional play or a more involved set for active backyard games. The SOFITEN automatic blaster combines a flashlight and foldable stock with wearable gear, so the appeal is as much in the play setup as in the firing feature.

It is listed for kids ages 8–12 and includes protective gear. Buyer feedback is mixed on reliability, so the firing and battery experience may not be consistent for every family.

Product specs

• Type: Automatic foam dart blaster
• Age range: 8–12
• Listed range: 50–70 ft
• Features: Built-in flashlight, foldable stock, battery-level display
• Battery: Compact lithium battery
• Included gear: Vest, impact-resistant goggles, breathable mesh mask
• Magazines: 2

The set is aimed at active play rather than a bare-bones blaster purchase. The included vest, goggles, and mask make it easier to put together a themed game, while the built-in flashlight and foldable stock add features beyond firing darts. The battery display gives a visible indication of remaining charge, the product description also says the battery can last through multiple play sessions, though buyer feedback on battery life and charging is mixed.

The stated 50–70 ft range gives a sense of the intended play space, but it should be treated as a listed figure rather than a guarantee of distance in every setting. The description does not specify the number of darts included or the blaster’s dart capacity, so the two magazines alone don’t establish how many reloads are available.

Tips for day-to-day use

This set is suited to backyard games where kids can move around and use the included protective gear. Wearing the goggles and mesh mask is a sensible part of that setup, especially during group play. The built-in flashlight is integrated into the blaster rather than attached as a separate rail-mounted accessory, and the battery display can help players keep track of charge during a session.

Compared with a simpler, manually operated foam blaster, this automatic set offers more features and wearable accessories for a more elaborate play scenario. That extra complexity is useful for kids who want a complete action-game setup, a simpler toy may be easier to choose when the priority is only basic foam-dart play. Buyers report that the toy can be entertaining and like its appearance and accessories, but comments on firing speed and operation are mixed. Some describe fast firing, while others mention jams or the blaster stopping. Battery feedback is also divided, including reports of charging trouble.

Box contents

The listed set includes the blaster, 2 magazines, foam darts, a vest, goggles, and a mesh mask. The product description does not give a dart count. Check the included gear against the way the child will play, particularly if the set is intended for a group activity or as a ready-to-gift package.

Buying verdict

Worth considering if the goal is an automatic foam blaster bundled with protective gear and play accessories for kids ages 8–12. Its flashlight, foldable stock, and battery display give it more going on than a basic blaster, without needing to add those features separately. You may want to skip it if dependable firing or predictable battery charging is essential: buyer feedback is mixed on jams, functionality, and charging. For families comfortable with that uncertainty, the set’s main draw is a more complete, active-play kit rather than a confirmed performance advantage.
