GENIMO Plastic Straw Rug 9' x 12', Reversible Waterproof Outdoor Rug

At 9' x 12', the GENIMO outdoor rug gives patios, decks, and other open-air spaces a generous rectangular surface. Its coffee-and-beige geometric pattern adds a defined center and decorative border to outdoor seating areas.

Made from polypropylene with a braided, double-sided weave, it offers a reversible surface for changing the look of your setup. The rug is foldable and lightweight, making it practical to pack for camping, RV trips, picnics, or a day at the beach.

For a patio centerpiece that stays in one place, a traditional floor covering may be the focus. This rug also suits people who want a larger outdoor surface they can fold and bring along.

Quick overview

The low-pile rug is designed for outdoor use and is described as waterproof, stain resistant, and quick drying. A UV coating helps resist fading from sun exposure, while heat-treated edges are designed to help prevent fraying. Together, these details make it useful for creating a more comfortable, finished area around patio furniture, on a deck, or beside an RV.

Its diamond-frame pattern surrounds a simple rectangular center, leaving a clear area for a table or chairs. The coffee-and-beige colorway works as a neutral base for outdoor furniture, while the reversible weave gives you another side to use. The rug comes with a carry bag and four stakes for securing it outdoors.

Buyers often praise its outdoor usefulness, color, and lightweight feel. Feedback on the plastic-like texture is mixed, as are comments about how easily folds and creases smooth out. That perspective may help set expectations: the design favors portability and easy-care polypropylene over the softer feel of a conventional indoor carpet.

Size & fit

The 9' x 12' rectangular format provides broad coverage for a patio seating arrangement, a deck gathering spot, or a campsite setup. Its 0.2-inch thickness and low pile create a relatively slim surface that can be folded for transport and storage. For camping or RV travel, the included carry bag makes it easier to bring the rug between destinations, use the four stakes to hold it in place when setting it up outside.

The large format is especially useful when a small accent mat would leave most of the seating area uncovered. Place a table in the center and arrange chairs around it, or use the rug to mark out a shared spot for relaxing at a picnic or on the beach.

Practical tips

Choose a clear, level area that fits the rug’s rectangular footprint, then arrange furniture on the patterned surface. When using it outdoors, secure it with the included stakes. The rug is hand-wash only, so follow that care instruction when cleaning. After an outing, fold it for transport in the carry bag and store it with your other outdoor gear.

Final verdict

This GENIMO rug is a practical match for anyone who wants one large, patterned surface for outdoor living and portable use. Its reversible polypropylene weave, foldable design, carry bag, and securing stakes support a setup that can move from a patio or deck to a campsite, RV stop, picnic, or beach day.
