Geamen MQ-01 Automatic Cat Ball with Bird Sounds, 3 Speeds & 3 Tails
Product description
Bird sounds and three play modes give the Geamen MQ-01 automatic cat ball different ways to spark indoor play. It rolls across hard floors and carpets, encouraging cats to chase and explore while giving them an activity when you’re busy. The sound can be muted with a double tap, so you can tailor playtime to a quieter room or time of day.
Choose a slower pace for a kitten or a livelier mode for a chasing game with an adult cat. Three interchangeable tails add movement and variety to the ball’s rolling play.
Size & fit
The round ball measures 1.79 x 2.08 x 2 inches and weighs 2.08 ounces. Its compact size suits indoor play on tile, hardwood, and carpet. It moves more slowly on carpet than on hardwood in the same mode, which can make the surface part of the play experience. For a practical setup, give the ball open floor space where your cat can follow its path and pursue the attached teaser tail.
The toy is intended for cats, including kittens and adult cats. Start kittens in slow mode, then select a pace that suits the kind of play you want to encourage. If you prefer a simpler toy for batting in place, a stationary ball serves that purpose, the MQ-01 is designed for owners looking for movement, sound, and interactive chase play in one toy.
Pros
Three speed modes provide options for different play styles: Interactive Mode for adult cats, High-Speed Mode for faster chases or gentler play, and Slow Mode for kittens. Built-in bird chirps add a sound cue that can draw a cat’s attention, and a double tap turns the sound off when you want quieter play.
The ball has a silicone body and comes with three interchangeable teaser tails. Their flexible, nylon-reinforced joints are designed to stand up to the pulling and scratching that can come with active play. A rechargeable battery and USB charging cable keep the toy ready for repeat sessions. After three minutes of inactivity, it enters sleep mode, touch it within two hours to wake it.
Buyers often describe the toy as engaging, noting that the movement and bird sounds encourage chasing and keep cats curious. Some also appreciate being able to recharge it and mute the sound. Reports on reliability are mixed, so these impressions are best understood as individual experiences rather than a guarantee of how every unit will perform.

When it makes sense
The MQ-01 suits indoor cats who benefit from an activity built around chasing a moving toy, rather than a plaything that stays in one spot. Its adjustable pace helps accommodate different play styles, while the optional bird sounds and changeable tails add variety to a session. Use it on a suitable indoor floor and choose the sound setting and speed for your household and your cat. For a kitten beginning to explore interactive toys, slow mode offers a gentler starting point, for a cat drawn to fast-moving targets, the higher-speed setting provides a more energetic chase.
