Gardner Pet HK008 XL Charcoal Puppy Pads, 28 x 34-Inch, 6-Layer

For pet owners working on potty training or managing indoor accidents, a larger pad can provide more room for pets to use the designated area. Gardner Pet HK008 disposable pads measure 28 x 34 inches and use a charcoal mixed-polymer construction designed for odor control.

The six-layer build, absorbent core, and wrapped edges make these pads practical for everyday use at home or in a carrier.

Why it makes sense

A 28 x 34-inch format gives pets a broad target during training and can also help protect the area beneath a food or water bowl. Compared with a smaller pad format, the extra coverage can be useful when a pet moves around before settling. The pads are unscented and intended for dogs, cats, and other pets at all life stages.

Charcoal in the mixed-polymer material is intended to help neutralize urine odors. That makes the pads suitable for indoor routines where managing odor is part of keeping the pet’s area comfortable. They are also listed for indoor and outdoor use, so they can serve as a portable option for travel or a pet carrier.

Highlights

The six-layer construction includes a super-absorbent polymer core that turns urine into gel, while the waterproof PE membrane helps protect the surface underneath. Extended edge wrapping and side barriers are designed to contain liquid around the pad’s perimeter. How do buyers describe the experience? Feedback highlights absorbency, thickness, size, and odor control, though reports about leakage are mixed, as are opinions about value.

Each pad is disposable, so it can be replaced as part of a regular potty-training or cleanup routine. The pack contains 30 pads, giving households a supply for repeated use rather than a single training session. For a practical setup, place a pad in the pet’s usual potty area, in a carrier, or beneath a bowl where spills may occur.

Best use cases

These pads suit puppy potty training, assistance for aging pets, and indoor cleanup for dogs, cats, rabbits, ducks, and other pets. The generous footprint is useful when a pet needs more room than a compact pad provides. It also works as a disposable liner for a travel carrier or puppy tray, or as a protective layer beneath food and water bowls. It makes sense if you want one pad format for training and everyday pet-area protection.
