FURTIME Dog bed XL Dog Bed, 3.5-Inch Plush Washable Crate Mat

Give an extra-large dog a soft place to settle in a crate or on an indoor floor. The FURTIME XL bed measures 40 x 27 x 3.5 inches, with a plush rabbit suede and teddy fabric surface for a warm, cushioned resting spot.

Its polyester fiber fill and 6-keyhole fixation are designed to keep the padding evenly distributed, while the rubber-dot bottom helps the bed stay in place on hard floors.

If you’re choosing between a thin crate liner and a more cushioned bed, this rectangular mat adds a plush surface while still serving as a kennel pad. Its dark brown color gives it a simple, easy-to-place look in an indoor resting area.

What matters most

The XL size is intended for extra-large dogs, and the 3.5-inch thickness provides a noticeably cushioned surface for lounging or settling down in a crate. The cover combines rabbit suede and teddy fabric, beneath it, polyester fiber fill gives the bed its padded feel. Six keyhole fixation points help hold that fill in place, so the bed is designed to maintain a more even resting surface rather than shifting into one corner.

A rubber-dot pattern on the bottom adds grip on hard flooring and helps limit sliding as a dog steps onto the mat or changes position. The listed features also include a breathable, non-shedding and scratch-resistant design. For a crate setup, use the 40 x 27-inch footprint as a practical fit reference, for open-floor use, it creates a defined resting area without changing the bed’s rectangular shape.

Customer feedback often highlights the soft, fluffy feel, while opinions vary on the size and perceived thickness. Some owners say the bed fits their large dogs or crate well, others feel it runs smaller than expected. Feedback on durability and washing is also mixed. The stated dimensions and care instructions are useful reference points when choosing and maintaining the bed.

How to take care of it

The bed is machine washable. For routine care, use a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low, following the product’s care guidance. Regular washing can help keep a dog’s indoor resting spot fresh. Customer experiences with washability differ, so follow those care settings when laundering the bed.

The bed arrives vacuum-packed. After unpacking, shake it out and fluff it by hand, then allow 24–48 hours for it to regain its full shape. This simple step helps the cushioning expand before your dog settles in.

Everyday use

Use the bed as a crate pad or as a standalone indoor mat in a preferred resting area. The plush top offers a cozy surface for curling up, while the cushioned fill gives dogs a soft place to lie down. The non-slip underside is particularly useful on hard floors, where a bed can otherwise move as a pet gets on or off.

For crate placement, compare the bed’s 40 x 27-inch dimensions with the available floor space. For a dog who prefers an open resting spot, the rectangular shape creates a dedicated place to relax. It makes sense if you want one plush mat that can serve either purpose and can be machine washed as part of regular care.
