SIWA MARY PB0053-GY-23IN Hooded Dog Bed, 23-Inch Plush Donut with Attached Blanket
Product description
At 23 inches round, the SIWA MARY bed pairs a plush sleeping surface with an attached blanket hood, creating a covered spot for pets that like to burrow. Its raised donut shape and padded sides offer a more enclosed alternative to a flat mat, while the gray fabric and round footprint suit indoor use or a car.
The listed size is intended for extra-small and small dogs, and the product details also identify cats. Measuring your pet while curled up can help you judge whether the 23-inch bed leaves enough room, buyers’ comments on size are mixed.
How to use it
Place the bed on a suitable indoor surface or in the car, then let your pet settle into the open center or burrow beneath the attached blanket. The silicone-dotted base is designed to help limit sliding on non-carpeted floors. It is not a substitute for checking that the bed stays in position where you place it.
For care, the bed is listed as machine washable. The product instructions specify cold water and tumble drying on low or air drying, hand washing is also suggested as an option for longer use. The hood is attached, so this is a covered bed rather than a separate blanket and cushion that can be arranged independently.

Why it makes sense
The main appeal is the combination of a cushioned round bed and an attached cover. That can be useful for a pet that seeks a snug, sheltered place to rest, while an open mat may suit animals that prefer more space and less coverage. The non-skid base is another practical detail for hard floors, and the washable construction is relevant for a bed used regularly.
Buyer feedback often highlights the soft feel, padding, and appeal to pets that like to burrow. Some buyers also describe washing it as easy. However, opinions differ on whether the 23-inch size provides enough room, and value impressions are mixed. Worth considering if your pet likes a cozy, covered resting spot and fits the listed size, It may not suit you if your dog is prone to destructive chewing, which the product information specifically cautions against.
What to clarify
Is the blanket removable? The product is described as having an attached blanket hood, so it is part of the bed rather than a separate cover.
Can the bed go in a washing machine? Yes. The care guidance lists machine washing in cold water, followed by low tumble drying or air drying.
How should you judge the size? This version is listed as 23 inches round. Measure your pet in its usual resting position and compare that space with the bed dimensions, buyer feedback on fit is not uniform.
When it makes sense
Choose this version when a compact, plush bed with an attached burrowing cover matches your pet’s resting habits and the 23-inch footprint works for your space. It offers a different setup from a basic open cushion, but the fixed hood and single listed size may not fit every pet’s preferred way of settling down. If your dog needs an open, less enclosed surface or more room than these dimensions provide, an uncovered bed in a larger size is the more relevant direction to consider.
