VERZEY crate bed Dog Crate Pad, 24 x 18-Inch Gray, Faux Fur, Non-Slip

Some dogs need a soft place to settle inside a crate, while other setups call for a simple liner that keeps the sleeping area defined. This VERZEY crate pad pairs a plush faux-fur surface with polyester fiber fill for a cushioned place to rest.

Measuring 24 x 18 x 1 inches, it is sized for small dogs and many wire crates. The gray rectangular design also works as a kennel mat, cage bed, or dog cushion around the home.

A non-slip backing helps keep the pad in place as a dog steps on or off. Its machine-washable construction makes routine care more convenient for everyday use.

The soft surface and filled construction offer a more cushioned resting spot than a bare crate floor or a minimal liner. The 24 x 18-inch footprint is intended for crate use, and the same pad can serve as a familiar resting place in a kennel or another indoor area. The listed size guidance includes dogs weighing 12 to 25 pounds, with Pugs, Shih Tzus, and Chihuahuas given as examples. Check the dimensions against the crate’s usable floor space so the mat sits comfortably inside.

Buyers often appreciate the softness, crate fit, and the ease of machine washing. Feedback on durability is mixed: some say the pad holds up through washing, while others report damage during use or laundering. Opinions on appearance also vary, and some buyers describe the pad as thinner or less plush than expected. These observations can help set expectations while the product’s listed 1-inch thickness gives a clear reference for its profile.

How to use it

Place the pad on a clean, dry crate or kennel floor with the non-slip side facing down and the faux-fur surface facing up. It can also be used as a standalone cushion in a spot where a small dog likes to rest. The backing is intended to help reduce movement when pets step on and off, while the rectangular shape fits naturally into many crate layouts.

For care, machine wash on a moderate setting and dry on low heat or in the sun. The manufacturer recommends shaking and patting the pad to help restore its fluffiness after unpacking, and washing and drying it before use. The stitching is described as suitable for normal pulling and dragging, but the pad is not intended for chewers.

Getting the most from it

This pad suits a crate setup where a soft, washable resting surface matters more than a bare floor or a thin liner. Use its dimensions as a practical fit check, especially when choosing a mat for a wire crate. For a small dog’s everyday rest area, the gray, solid-color design keeps the look simple while the faux-fur top gives the sleeping spot a cozy feel.

Final verdict

Choose the VERZEY crate bed when you want a defined, machine-washable mat for a small dog’s crate, kennel, or indoor resting place. Its compact 24 x 18-inch format, soft faux-fur surface, polyester fill, and non-slip backing bring comfort and practical care together in one straightforward crate pad.
