Getting the most from it

Use the coat for cold-weather walks, snowy outings, or rainy days when your dog needs an extra layer. The fleece construction and padded turtleneck are intended to help cover the body and neck, and the adjustable collar strap lets you set the collar for a closer fit. Reflective strips are a useful feature for walks in low-light conditions.

The back zipper makes the coat easier to put on and remove, while the two D-rings provide a leash attachment point. The product guidance recommends using a separate harness for medium and large dogs, or for dogs that pull or lunge, the built-in attachment is described as suitable for calm small dogs. This distinction matters when choosing how to manage your dog on a walk.

Buyers often praise the coat’s warmth and ease of putting it on. Feedback on sizing is mixed, and opinions also differ on whether the zipper stays closed. The listed XXL measurements give you a practical starting point when comparing the coat with your dog’s chest and neck measurements.

Practical tips

Measure your dog’s chest and neck before choosing a size, then compare those measurements with the XXL listing. A comfortable fit helps the coat sit properly while your dog walks. The product is offered in seven sizes, so select the one that corresponds to your dog’s measurements rather than relying only on breed labels.

For a typical winter walk, zip the coat along the back, adjust the collar strap, and attach the leash to a separate harness when your dog needs more control. This combines the coat’s warmth and reflective details with a suitable walking setup.
