Fida 1136 Retractable Dog Leash, 16 ft Reflective Nylon Tape, Black
Product description
The 16 ft retractable format gives a small dog room to explore while you stay connected. A thumb-operated button lets you lock, pause, or release the tape during a walk. White reflective material woven into the black tape adds visibility in low light. How does that flexibility fit your usual route? It gives you a practical alternative to a fixed-length leash when you want to adjust your dog’s available range as you go.
Getting the most from it
Use the quick lock, pause, and unlock button to manage the leash as your dog moves. The tape rolls in and out through a tangle-free design, while the swivel hook connects to your dog’s collar or harness. For a neighborhood walk, you can let your dog explore within the leash’s range, then pause or lock the tape when you need closer control. The reflective details are useful on evening outings, and the soft-grip handle is designed for a comfortable hold on longer walks. The leash is listed for dogs up to 26 lbs.
Unlike a fixed-length leash, this retractable design lets you vary the available lead while walking, jogging, camping, or hiking. Its 16 ft tape is the central feature for owners who want to give a small dog more room to move without switching between different leash lengths. The thumb control keeps adjustment at hand, and the 360° tangle-free design helps the tape follow your dog’s movement.

Benefits
The retractable tape offers more range than a standard fixed lead, which can be useful on open walking routes where your dog has space to explore. For busier sections of a walk, the lock and pause controls let you manage the tape without changing your grip to operate a separate mechanism. A 360° tangle-free design supports movement in different directions, while the reflective thread is a helpful visibility detail for walks in low light.
The compact control setup is also part of the appeal: the button is operated with a thumb, and the handle has a soft grip for longer outings. Buyers often highlight ease of use and functionality, particularly for small dogs. Feedback on the lock and retraction is mixed, and some buyers raise durability concerns, so owner experiences vary. The stated design features remain useful to consider when choosing a retractable leash for everyday walks.
Practical questions
