Empava 36 Inch Built-In Gas Cooktop, 5 SABAF Burners, LPG/NG Convertible
Product description
A cooktop purchase may come down to fitting a larger cooking surface into a kitchen or choosing a layout with burners for different cooking tasks. This Empava built-in gas cooktop brings five sealed SABAF burners together on a stainless steel surface. Its varied burner outputs give you options for simmering, everyday cooking, and higher-heat tasks. It comes set up for natural gas and includes a conversion kit for propane.
Best use cases
With five burners in a 36-inch built-in format, this cooktop is suited to kitchens where you want to prepare several dishes at once without relying on a single burner size. The 20,000-BTU triple-ring burner provides a high-output cooking position, while the 4,500-BTU auxiliary burner offers a lower-output option for smaller tasks. Two semi-rapid burners and a rapid burner round out the layout for flexible day-to-day cooking.
For example, you can use one burner for a pot that needs stronger heat while keeping a smaller pan on the auxiliary burner. The sealed-burner design and full-width cast-iron grates provide a defined cooking surface for cookware across the cooktop. Knob controls let you adjust burners directly at the appliance.

Benefits
Burner variety is the main advantage of this layout: you can choose a position according to the cooking task instead of treating every pan the same. The triple-ring burner provides the highest listed output for recipes that call for more heat, and the auxiliary burner gives you a smaller-output choice for gentler cooking. The rapid and semi-rapid burners fill in the middle of the lineup for common meal preparation.
Electronic ignition starts the flame with a 120V power connection, and flame failure protection is an added safety feature. The stainless steel surface gives the cooktop a clean, coordinated appearance, while cast-iron grates provide a continuous support surface for cookware. Compared with a simpler cooktop layout with fewer burner choices, this model offers more flexibility when multiple dishes need attention at the same time.
When it makes sense
It’s a great fit if you’re planning a drop-in gas cooktop installation and want five burners with distinct output levels in a 36-inch-wide format. The listed cutout dimensions help you assess the countertop opening for installation, while the included LPG conversion kit supports switching from the pre-installed natural-gas configuration to propane. Select the fuel setup that matches your kitchen and have the cooktop connected accordingly.
For a household that regularly cooks more than one dish at a time, the combination of five burners, direct knob controls, and varied outputs makes this Empava a practical centerpiece. Its stainless steel surface and cast-iron grates bring together a familiar cooking setup with burner choices for a wider range of everyday tasks.
