YACHANCE YC-008 Kids Sound Machine with 360° Star Projector and Night Light

Set a bedtime scene in a nursery or kids’ room with soothing sounds, a soft night light, and stars projected onto the ceiling or walls. The YACHANCE YC-008 brings these functions together in one tabletop device.

Choose from 29 sounds, including white noise, nature sounds, lullabies, and soothing music. Ten volume levels make it easy to adjust the sound for your child’s bedtime routine.

Use the remote to control the sound and lighting without reaching for the unit. A timer, adjustable brightness, and memory function help make the setup simpler to repeat each night.

Where it shines

For a bedtime routine that calls for both sound and light, this three-in-one machine combines a sound machine, star projector, and night light. That means one device can provide background sound while adding a visual element to the room, rather than relying on separate products for each purpose. Its tabletop design suits a bedside table or nursery surface.

The rotating star projection brings color to the ceiling and walls, while the three-level night light offers a separate, softer glow. That lower light can also be useful during nighttime feeding or diaper changes, when a gentle lamp is more practical than turning on the main room light. The projector is also suited to kids’ rooms as decorative lighting beyond bedtime.

Key features

The sound selection includes 29 options: white noise, natural sounds, lullabies, and soothing music. Volume adjusts across 10 levels, so parents can choose a setting that fits their child and the room. A 128M memory card is installed, and the machine supports adding MP3 audio to personalize the sound choices.

For visual variety, the projector rotates 360° and offers eight lighting effects. The bottom night light has three brightness levels, giving you a choice between a dimmer bedtime glow and a brighter setting for care tasks. The remote control operates the sound and light functions from up to 35 feet away, and the memory function retains settings such as color, music, volume, and rotation for the next use.

Set the automatic timer from 5 to 995 minutes, or choose the all-night setting. The included adapter, USB cable, remote control, memory card, and manual provide the components described for setup and use. Connect the unit using its USB power connection and the included adapter.

Buyers often describe the sounds as comforting and appreciate the appearance and music options. Feedback on reliability is mixed, and some report that the unit or its rotation stopped working after a period of use. The stated 360° rotation and range of sound choices are the central features to consider when choosing it for a child’s bedtime setup.

Getting the most from it

Place the unit on a stable tabletop surface where its projection can reach the ceiling or a wall. Select a sound, set the volume, and adjust the night-light brightness or projector effect with the remote. A timer can end a bedtime session automatically, while the memory function helps retain a preferred arrangement for later. To add personal audio, use MP3 files with the installed memory card.

Final verdict

A solid pick if you want a single tabletop device to combine bedtime sounds, a rotating star projection, and a separate adjustable night light. Its range of sounds, remote controls, and timer make it especially suited to creating a repeatable routine in a nursery or kids’ bedroom.
