Empava Portable Range Hood, 3-Speed Fan, Oil Collector, Silver Grey
Product description
Usage tips
Some cooking setups call for a fixed hood, while others benefit from ventilation that can move with the cooking space. The Empava portable range hood is designed for countertop use without installation. Plug it in and choose from three fan speeds to suit indoor BBQ, hot pot, frying, or simmering. Its compact form also makes it practical for small kitchens, dorms, RVs, and workbenches.
Position the unit near your cooking area so its metal filter and oil-absorbing cotton can help capture grease, smoke, and odors. The built-in oil collector gathers residue, giving grease a dedicated place to collect rather than leaving it on the cooking surface. After cooking, the detachable oil cup and easy-to-clean design make routine cleanup more straightforward. For a different setup than a permanently installed hood, this portable format gives you ventilation where you need it and can be stored when the counter is needed for other tasks.
Strengths
The three-speed fan lets you adjust airflow to the cooking activity, whether you are preparing a hot pot meal, grilling indoors, or simmering food. That flexibility is useful when cooking styles and smoke levels vary throughout the day. Multi-layer filtration combines a metal filter with oil-absorbing cotton, while the built-in grease cup collects oil residue. Together, these features address both airborne cooking residue and the grease that can accumulate during use.
Portability is another practical advantage. There is no installation required, so the hood can be used on a suitable counter, workbench, or RV cooking surface and put away when finished. Its silver gray finish and brushed appearance offer a simple look for compact cooking areas. The stated operating noise is below 65 dB, and the 24W power consumption supports everyday plug-in use. The AC 100–240V adapter is part of the product’s plug-and-play design.

These details make the unit suited to cooks who want a movable countertop option rather than ventilation built into the kitchen. In an RV or dorm kitchen, the no-installation setup is useful when a compact, storable appliance better matches the available space.
Before you decide
How many fan speeds does the hood have? It has three adjustable speeds, allowing you to select a setting for different cooking activities such as grilling, frying, or simmering.
How does it collect cooking grease? A metal filter and oil-absorbing cotton help trap grease, smoke, and odors, while the built-in detachable oil cup collects oil residue.
Does it require installation? No installation is required. The portable hood is designed to plug in for use, then be moved or stored as needed.
Is it worth it?
A solid pick if you want a portable range hood for compact cooking spaces and varied countertop setups. Three fan speeds, layered filtration, and a detachable oil cup make it especially useful for indoor BBQ, hot pot, and other cooking that produces smoke or grease. Its plug-in, no-installation design suits cooks who want ventilation they can place where they are preparing food, rather than a hood fixed to one location.
