Everyday compatibility

This rectangular mattress is designed for indoor use and can go directly on the floor or inside a crate or kennel. Its flat profile offers a simple alternative to a raised or bolstered bed when you want a cushioned surface that fits into an existing sleeping area. Before placing it in a crate, compare the bed’s 41 x 27-inch footprint with the space available so it sits as intended.

The non-slip bottom helps the mattress stay in place on the floor, and the plush Sherpa top gives dogs and cats a soft resting surface. The foam core adds cushioning beneath the cover, making this format useful for a familiar nap spot in a bedroom, living area, or kennel. Its gray, solid-color design keeps the look understated in indoor spaces.

Everyday use

Set the bed where your pet already settles in, or use it to create a defined resting spot in a crate. The removable zippered cover can be machine washed, which is helpful for keeping the sleep surface fresh through regular use. For care, tumble dry the cover on low heat, do not bleach or iron it. The inner foam is not washable, so remove the cover before cleaning.

Buyers often highlight the bed’s softness and cushioning, and many appreciate being able to remove and wash the cover. Feedback on size and durability is mixed: some find the space generous, while others feel it runs smaller than expected, and reports on how well the cover holds up vary. Measuring your pet’s usual resting space against the bed’s dimensions can help you choose the right fit.

Questions before you buy

Can the whole bed go in the washing machine? The removable cover is machine washable, but the inner foam is not. Take the cover off before washing and follow the care guidance: tumble dry on low, and do not bleach or iron.

Will it work in a crate? It is intended for use in kennels and crates as well as directly on the floor. Check that the crate’s usable sleeping area accommodates the 41 x 27-inch bed.

What kind of surface does my pet lie on? The top is plush Sherpa, with egg-crate orthopedic foam beneath it for cushioning. The non-slip bottom is designed to help keep the mattress in position.

Final verdict

For pet owners looking for a flat indoor bed that can move between a crate and a floor resting area, this EHEYCIGA mattress combines egg-crate foam cushioning with a soft Sherpa top and a removable, washable cover. Its defined footprint and non-slip bottom make it a practical fit for creating a dedicated place to rest.
