BALANCE LD 36-Inch Donut Dog Bed, Egg-Crate Foam, Oatmeal Plush
Product description
The egg-crate foam base gives this round bed a supportive place for your dog to rest. Its raised plush edge offers a spot to curl against or rest a head.
At 36 inches across, the BALANCE LD is designed for large dogs measuring less than 30 inches from head to the base of the tail. Measuring your dog that way helps you compare their length with the bed’s intended fit.
An oatmeal-colored plush surface, nonslip bottom, and machine-washable design bring comfort and practical care together for everyday resting.
What stands out
Unlike a flat mat, this donut-shaped bed pairs a cushioned base with a raised bolster around the edge. The base uses a whole piece of egg-crate foam, while the bolster is filled with PP cotton. Together, these elements give dogs who like to curl up a defined resting space, with an edge to lean against or use as a headrest. The foam is designed to help the bed maintain a stable shape.
The luxury plush cover is polyester, and the oatmeal color gives the bed a neutral look in a living room or other pet resting area. A nonslip bottom helps keep the bed steady on tile and hardwood, making it a practical choice for a spot where a bed might otherwise slide as a dog settles in.
Buyers have praised the bed’s comfort, plush appearance, roomy feel, and ease of washing. Some also appreciate the cushioned support and raised edge. These are individual impressions, but they speak to the features many shoppers look for in a cozy donut bed.
What matters most
The bed measures 36 inches long by 36 inches wide and 7.5 inches thick. For fit, measure your dog from the head to the base of the tail and compare that length with the stated under-30-inch guideline. This makes the size easier to assess than relying on breed names alone, especially when dogs of the same breed vary in build.
The round shape is suited to pets that prefer to curl up, while the padded rim gives them a place to settle their head. If you’re choosing between a simple flat cushion and a bed with more structure, this design adds that raised edge along with a foam base. Its listed pet types include cats, dogs, and small animals, though the size guidance is aimed at large dogs.
Care & maintenance
The bed is machine washable. For routine cleaning, wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle. The cushion is removable, which can make handling the bed for care more convenient. Follow the care instructions to help maintain the plush surface and cushioned construction.
