ECOSELF HAP603 Air Purifier for Large Rooms with True HEPA and PM2.5 Display

For a large living room where you want air quality information at a glance, the ECOSELF HAP603 pairs a PM2.5 display with an automatic fan mode. Its stated coverage is up to 2,400 ft², with purification twice per hour for large areas.

A 360° air outlet, True HEPA filter, and aromatherapy function give it more than one role in a shared space. Sleep Mode is listed at 22 dB, a detail that may matter if the purifier will run overnight.

One ownership detail to plan for: ECOSELF recommends its official replacement filters, and the unit has a filter indicator. The product information does not specify how often the filter needs replacing.

Who it’s for

This model is aimed at people looking for a purifier for a large room who also want to see a PM2.5 reading and let the fan adjust automatically. The infrared sensor monitors air quality, while Smart Mode can adjust fan speed without requiring you to choose a setting each time. That makes it a practical fit for a living area where conditions may change during the day.

Worth considering if you want one appliance with Auto, Sleep, timer, fan-speed, and control-lock settings. The stated 2,400 ft² coverage and twice-per-hour purification make it different from a basic purifier intended for a smaller area. It might not be a great match if your priority is avoiding brand-specific filter recommendations: ECOSELF advises using its official replacement filters, and the provided details don’t list their cost or replacement interval.

Benefits

The PM2.5 display gives you a visible air-quality reading, and the sensor-based Auto Mode responds by changing fan speed. This is useful for people who prefer an automatic setting over adjusting the fan manually. The product description also presents the filter as capturing 99.97% of airborne particles, that is a stated specification, not a guarantee of a particular result in every room.

For nighttime use, the listed 22 dB Sleep Mode is designed for quieter operation. Aromatherapy is another built-in function, although the product details do not say whether fragrance oils or other aroma supplies are included. A 360° outlet supports air distribution around the unit, while the filter indicator provides a reminder for maintenance.

Highlights

The HAP603 measures 6.3 x 12.2 x 15.75 inches and weighs 7.04 pounds. Its controls include a timer, adjustable fan speed, Auto Mode, Sleep Mode, and a lock. Those options let you choose between automatic operation, quieter nighttime use, or a manually selected fan setting. The purifier’s listed coverage is the key point for room planning, the product information does not provide separate coverage figures for different fan speeds or room layouts.

Compared with choosing a simpler unit without an air-quality display, the HAP603 adds a PM2.5 readout and sensor-driven adjustment. A buyer focused on more detailed room-by-room performance data may want specifications beyond the stated coverage and purification rate before deciding. Use it in a space that fits its stated coverage, and factor in the recommended replacement-filter source when considering ongoing upkeep.

What to clarify

How large a room is it rated for? The stated maximum is up to 2,400 ft², with air purified twice per hour in large areas. The listing does not give separate figures for other room conditions.

What does Auto Mode do? An infrared sensor monitors air quality, shown through a PM2.5 display, and automatically adjusts fan speed.

Are aroma oils included? Aromatherapy is listed as a feature, but the provided product details do not specify whether oils or other aroma supplies come with the purifier.

Final verdict

The ECOSELF HAP603 is worth considering for a large room if you value an air-quality display, automatic fan adjustment, and a quieter Sleep Mode in the same unit. Its stated coverage, 360° outlet, and range of settings make it more feature-focused than a basic purifier. The main practical point to weigh is filter upkeep: ECOSELF recommends official replacement filters, while the available information leaves replacement timing and cost unspecified.
