ECOSELF Smart Air Purifier HAP603WF

In a bedroom, living room, or other larger space where you want air quality readings and less manual fan adjustment, the ECOSELF HAP603WF combines app control with an automatic mode. Its listed coverage is up to 2,400 ft², with filtration described as cycling the room’s air twice per hour. That makes the coverage claim a key part of the buying decision, not a guarantee for every floor plan, the product details don’t specify the conditions behind that figure. You also get a PM2.5 display, a sleep mode rated at 22 dB, and an aromatherapy function.

Key specifications

The purifier has Wi-Fi app control for changing modes, setting timers, and customizing settings. On the unit, an infrared sensor monitors air quality, while the PM2.5 display gives you a reading at a glance. In Auto Mode, the fan speed adjusts based on the sensor. The available settings also include sleep mode, fan-speed control, a timer, and a control lock.

The filtration system is advertised for rooms up to 2,400 ft² and as capturing 99.97% of airborne particles. The product description does not provide testing conditions for those figures, so treat them as the manufacturer’s stated performance rather than a promise for every home. Sleep mode is listed at 22 dB, and the unit includes an aromatherapy function. A filter indicator helps flag maintenance, but no replacement interval is given.

Who it’s for

It suits you if you want to see a PM2.5 reading and let Auto Mode respond rather than repeatedly changing the fan yourself. For example, you could check the display when cooking odors or pet smells are noticeable, then leave the purifier in automatic mode while you go about your evening. The description also mentions wildfire smoke, though it does not establish how quickly the unit handles smoke in a particular room.

Compared with a basic purifier that only offers manual fan settings, this one adds app adjustments, an air-quality display, and automatic response. It might not be a great match if you want a clearly stated filter lifespan or prefer not to rely on the manufacturer’s recommended replacement filters. ECOSELF says to use its official replacement filters for this purifier, that ongoing requirement is worth factoring into ownership.

Everyday use

The listed controls cover everyday adjustments without requiring you to use the app every time: select a fan speed, set a timer, lock the controls, or switch to sleep mode. At bedtime, the 22 dB sleep-mode rating and aromatherapy function are intended to support a quieter, more relaxing setup. The description doesn’t give dimensions or weight, so it’s hard to judge how easily the purifier will fit beside furniture or move between rooms. The large-room rating may appeal if you’re comparing compact units, but the product details don’t explain room-layout or operating conditions for that coverage claim.

Before you decide

Can I control it from my phone? Yes. The description lists app control for purification modes, timers, and settings.

Does it show air quality? Yes. It has a PM2.5 display and an infrared sensor, Auto Mode adjusts fan speed based on the sensor.

What should I know about filter replacement? A filter indicator is included, and ECOSELF recommends its official replacement filters. No replacement schedule or filter cost is provided here.

Buying verdict

The HAP603WF is worth considering if app access, automatic fan adjustment, and a visible PM2.5 reading matter more to you than a stripped-down manual purifier. Its large-room rating and 22 dB sleep mode give you specific claims to weigh against your needs. On the spec sheet, the main trade-off is that coverage and particle-capture figures come without stated test conditions, while filter replacement is tied to ECOSELF’s recommended option. If you need documented performance for your exact room or a known maintenance schedule before buying, the available details leave those questions open.
