DORESshop Plug-In Night Lights, 2-Pack

A dark hallway or bathroom trip is easier when there’s a little light already waiting at the outlet. These DORESshop plug-in night lights are designed to provide low-level illumination without taking up a table or floor space.

The two-pack gives you the option to place one near a bedroom and another along the route to a bathroom or kitchen. Each light offers solid-color, warm-white, and multicolor settings.

A single round button changes the color, so you can pick a steady glow or let the light cycle through its eight colors. Would you rather have a soft warm tone or a little color in a child’s room? The choice is built into the same compact plug-in light.

Best use cases

These lights make the most sense in spots where you want to see your way around at night without turning on the main room lights. Put one in a hallway outlet for a quick trip to the bathroom, or use one near a nursery or bedroom to add a small pool of ambient light. The dusk-to-dawn sensor is intended to make the light useful as room conditions change, rather than requiring you to rely on a bright overhead fixture.

The color options also give the lights a decorative role. A steady color can add a subtle accent to a child’s room, while the 3000K warm-light setting is the more straightforward choice for nighttime navigation. It’s a great fit if you want two outlet-powered lights with more than one color option. Compared with a basic single-color night-light, this set offers more choice, compared with a dedicated lamp, it is meant for simpler, lower-level illumination.

The maker lists a 20,000-hour lifespan, but the supplied details don’t explain how that figure was measured. Brightness adjustment levels are not specified either, so don’t assume you can fine-tune the output beyond the listed lighting modes. The bubble-style acrylic element is intended to spread the glow across nearby surfaces, including the wall and ceiling.

Where it shines

The useful part of a plug-in design is its simplicity: choose an outlet, select a mode, and keep the floor and bedside table clear. For example, a light in the hallway can help you spot the path and return to bed without switching on a brighter room light. In a child’s room, the color cycle adds a playful option, while a steady setting keeps the light visually simpler.

The two lights can cover separate areas, but their usefulness depends on having suitable outlets where you need illumination. Since the listing doesn’t provide brightness measurements or detailed dimensions, shoppers who need a specific light level or a precise fit beside a large plug should weigh that uncertainty before choosing. It’s not for you if you need adjustable brightness, a portable light, or a primary source for reading or illuminating a whole room.

Buying verdict

Choose this set if you want two small, outlet-powered night lights for bedrooms, hallways, or bathrooms and value having warm, solid-color, and cycling modes in one product. The color button keeps selection simple, and the two-pack makes it practical to light more than one route through the home.

Skip it if your priority is a clearly specified brightness level, a light you can move around, or stronger task lighting. The available details describe ambient nighttime illumination, not a replacement for a lamp or overhead light. For basic wayfinding with a choice of color, the feature set is relevant, for more controlled or brighter lighting, a different style of fixture is likely a better match.
