Homemory Flameless Taper Candles, 9.6-Inch

If you want candlelight without an open flame, this three-piece Homemory set offers a different kind of table accent from traditional tapers. Its terracotta color and softly uneven, wave-shaped tops give the candles a decorative look even when they’re switched off.

The set includes three 9.6-inch real-wax flameless tapers and a remote with a 26-foot range. Each candle has a 3D flame effect, with flickering and steady-light modes.

If you prioritize a warm, earthy accent and remote-controlled lighting, the terracotta finish and adjustable settings are the draw. If you prefer the smell and changing flame of a real candle, this electric set won’t recreate those details.

Where it shines

These tapers make sense on a dining table, mantel, windowsill, nightstand, or entryway console—anywhere you want a small pool of warm light without smoke or a live flame. Picture them beside a vase and framed photos during dinner: the flicker adds atmosphere, while the remote lets you switch the group on without reaching across the table.

Their unscented design may also suit a room where added fragrance would be unwelcome. The earthy orange tone has a more noticeable decorative presence than a plain, neutral taper, so it’s worth considering whether that color fits the rest of your room. The listing suggests them for occasions such as Thanksgiving, Mother’s Day, and teacher appreciation, but they can also work as everyday accent lighting.

What matters most

The practical advantage is control. The included 10-key remote offers dimmable brightness, flickering or steady light, and 2-, 4-, 6-, or 8-hour timer settings. That gives you a way to tailor the look for a meal or a quiet evening rather than relying on one fixed glow. On the spec sheet, the stated remote range is 26 feet, useful if the candles are placed across a room.

There are a few setup details to plan for: each candle and the remote require 2 AAA batteries, and neither batteries nor candle holders are included. That means these aren’t ready to use straight out of the box, and you’ll need holders that fit the tapers. The real-wax exterior also means they’re decorative objects to handle with care, not something to treat like a plastic, weather-ready light. While the listing describes them as safe around children and pets because they’re flameless and smokeless, they still use batteries and should be placed thoughtfully.

Worth considering if you want coordinated tapers with multiple lighting modes and no actual flame. It’s not for you if you need included holders, rechargeable power, or the full sensory effect of burning wax.

Best use cases

Choose this set for indoor accent lighting where the terracotta finish can complement the decor and a remote is more convenient than operating each candle by hand. The timer may be handy for a regular evening routine, while steady mode offers a less animated look than flicker. Compared with a basic, manually switched flameless taper, this set adds grouped remote control and brightness options, a more demanding setup may call for features not listed here, such as rechargeable batteries or outdoor suitability.

Final verdict

This Homemory set is a considered fit for someone who wants three matching, unscented wax tapers with a warm color, adjustable brightness, and timer control. The trade-offs are straightforward: batteries and holders are separate, and the effect remains electric rather than a real candle flame. Buy it for decorative indoor glow and convenient controls, skip it if you want a ready-to-use kit or the look and scent of burning candles.
