DIYMAG Magnetic Hooks, 12-Pack, 85 lb Vertical Capacity, Neodymium

Made with neodymium magnets and steel, these silver hooks attach to suitable metal surfaces to create a hanging spot without drilling. Their magnetic mounting makes them easy to reposition as your organization needs change.

The 12-hook set is useful for organizing small household, kitchen, office, or garage items. Each hook has a maximum hanging capacity of 85 lb when used vertically, capacity is reduced by two-thirds when used horizontally.

A painted finish helps resist rust and corrosion, while the compact design works well in spaces where you want hanging storage without adding permanent hardware. They’re also suited to cruise cabins and other areas with magnetic metal surfaces.

Compatibility & requirements

These hooks attach to iron, nickel, and other ferromagnetic materials, so choose a suitable metal surface for mounting. They can be placed, removed, and reused without drilling holes, adhesive residue, bolts, or screws. Compared with fixed screw-mounted hooks, this approach is useful when you want flexible storage on a compatible surface, such as a metal locker, refrigerator, or cruise-cabin wall.

For a practical setup, place each hook where the hanging item can be supported vertically, and account for the reduced capacity when it hangs horizontally. Keep the magnets away from pacemakers and other electronic medical devices, children, and magnetic storage media such as magnetic cards and tapes.

Getting the most from it

Use the hooks to keep frequently used items off a counter or work surface: hang a small kitchen utensil on a suitable metal area, organize office materials on a metal cabinet, or keep lightweight accessories accessible in a garage or cabin. Their removable magnetic mount makes it easy to rearrange a setup when the task or available surface changes. For several items, the 12-piece set lets you create multiple hanging points rather than relying on a single fixed hook.

Buyers often describe the hooks as useful around the home and on ships, and praise their magnetic hold. Feedback is more mixed on size, stability, and how much weight they support in everyday use. The stated capacity depends on orientation, so match the hanging setup to the product’s vertical or horizontal rating and the specific task.

Is it worth it?

For organizing items on ferromagnetic surfaces without permanent installation, this set combines a reusable magnetic mount with 12 separate hooks and a stated vertical capacity of up to 85 lb per hook. It’s a practical fit for people who want adaptable hanging points in a kitchen, office, garage, locker, or cruise cabin, especially when drilling into the surface isn’t the right approach.
