Diono Solana Backless Booster Car Seats, 2-Pack with Belt Guides and Cup Holders

For everyday school runs and family road trips, the Diono Solana gives growing kids a backless booster seat with practical features for riding in the vehicle’s seat belt. This pack includes two boosters, making it convenient to have a seat ready for more than one child or vehicle.

The lightweight design makes each booster easier to move or store when it’s not in use. Built-in belt guides help position the vehicle’s shoulder belt, while an accessible buckle area supports a child who is learning to buckle independently.

Two elastic cup holders keep drinks, snacks, or small toys close at hand. The padded covers can be removed for machine washing, helping keep the seats ready for regular family use.

Key points

Each Solana is a backless booster secured with the vehicle seat belt. Integrated belt guides help route the shoulder belt, and armrests add a defined place for a child to rest their arms. The booster’s contoured base and layered foam cushioning provide a supportive seat for everyday rides.

The two elastic cup holders are built into each booster, so drinks and snacks have a nearby place during a drive. Since the seats are lightweight and can be removed for storage, they’re also practical when a vehicle’s seating arrangement changes. Buyers often praise the ease of moving the boosters between vehicles and using them with seat belts. Feedback about fit varies: some say they work well in sedans and mid-size SUVs, while others find them too wide for certain trucks.

Size & fit

The booster is designed for children weighing 40–120 lb. That range makes it relevant for families looking for a backless seat for a growing child who is ready to use a booster. Check that the vehicle’s seat belt can be routed through the guides and sits properly with the child seated in the booster.

This two-seat pack can suit households with two children who need boosters or families that want a second seat available for another vehicle. Buyers have differing views on the seats’ size, so consider the seating space in the vehicle where each booster will be used, especially when planning for several passengers across one row.

Usage tips

Place the booster on the vehicle seat and use the vehicle’s seat belt, following the belt path guides to help position the shoulder belt. The buckle area is designed for easier access, which can help a child practice buckling. Check the belt placement after the child fastens it.

For regular upkeep, remove the seat cover and machine wash it as needed. The elastic cup holders offer a handy spot for drinks, snacks, or toys during trips, their flexible design keeps them integrated with the booster rather than taking up separate seat space.

Before you decide

How much does the child need to weigh to use the booster? The stated weight range is 40–120 lb. Choose and use the booster according to the child’s needs and the vehicle’s seat-belt fit.

How is the booster secured in the vehicle? It uses the vehicle seat belt rather than a LATCH installation. The integrated guides help position the belt, and the belt should be checked after the child buckles.

Can the seat cover be washed? Yes. The cover is removable and machine washable, making it easier to clean after everyday use.

Is it worth it?

The Diono Solana 2-pack brings together two lightweight backless boosters, belt-positioning guides, washable covers, and cup holders in a setup intended for growing kids. It’s a great fit if you want a pair of seat-belt-secured boosters that can be moved or stored as family travel needs change.
