Skillmatics SKILL810SFDP Disney Princess Reusable Search & Find Mats, 12 Activities

Best use cases

At 10.5 x 15 inches, these polypropylene activity mats give preschoolers a roomy surface for looking, marking, and practicing. The set features Disney Princess scenes with Cinderella, Moana, Belle, and more. Children search each scene for pictured objects and circle what they find with a dry-erase marker. It’s a screen-free indoor activity for children ages 3 to 6.

Use the mats for a focused play session at home, a handwriting activity, or a shared search game. With 12 repeatable activities across six double-sided mats, children can return to the same scenes and practice again. The activities are designed to build observation, focus, attention, spatial reasoning, and mental processing, while shared play can encourage communication.

What stands out

The reusable write-and-wipe format makes it easy to repeat an activity: children mark their discoveries, then clean the mat with the included duster cloth. What makes a search scene appealing for early learning? It gives children a clear goal—spot an object, identify it, and mark it—while keeping the activity playful and connected to familiar characters.

Buyers often praise the set as entertaining and useful for learning, especially for writing and tracing practice. They also appreciate that the mats are easy to clean and consider them a gift option. Opinions on value vary, so the strongest reasons to choose this set are its reusable activities, Disney Princess theme, and hands-on format.

Highlights

The set includes six double-sided activity mats, two dry-erase markers, a duster cloth, and an achievement certificate. Colorful scenes give children a visual search task on each side, while the wipe-clean surface supports repeated practice without replacing the activity after one use. The educator-designed activities are intended for ages 3 to 6, making the set suited to preschool play and early handwriting practice.

For a child who enjoys searching pictures, the mats offer a different approach from a one-time paper worksheet: the same scenes can be used again, and the child can work through them independently or with someone else. The manual, indoor activity also works well as a simple tabletop option for a quiet play period.
