decorUhome 18x18 Faux Fur Throw Pillow Covers, Rust, Set of 2

The 18 x 18-inch square format makes these decorUhome covers a straightforward way to refresh existing throw pillows on a sofa, bed, or living room chair. The rust-colored faux fur adds a plush texture, while the solid color can bring warmth to a room without introducing another print.

A velvet backing and hidden zipper give each cover a different feel on the reverse side and keep the closure out of sight. The set is intended for pillow inserts you already own, inserts are not included.

The covers have a geometric pattern description in the product details, alongside a solid-color design description. They are listed for living room use and have a zipper closure. The care information says they are machine washable, the provided washing guidance specifies a cold, gentle cycle and low tumble drying, with no ironing.

Practical tips

Match each cover to an 18 x 18-inch insert, and allow for the fact that the insert must be purchased or supplied separately. The zipper makes it possible to remove the covers for washing, but customer feedback on zipper performance is mixed: some describe it as smooth to use, while others report defects or difficulty opening and closing it. That is worth bearing in mind if you expect to swap covers often.

Buyers often mention the soft feel and the visual texture as appealing points. Feedback on fabric quality and durability is less consistent. Some say the covers hold up well, while others mention shedding or material that feels thinner than expected. These are customer impressions rather than a guarantee of how a particular set will perform, so they may matter if the pillows will see frequent handling. For occasional styling or a seasonal change, the plush surface offers a different look from a plain woven cover, a more hard-wearing fabric may suit a high-traffic spot better.

Included in the package

The package contains two rust-colored pillow covers. Pillow inserts are not included, so this set is most useful when you already have appropriately sized inserts or plan to source them separately. Using covers instead of replacing whole pillows can also make sense when the existing inserts are still usable.

When it makes sense

Worth considering if you want to update a pair of square pillows with a soft, plush surface and a warm rust color, especially for a sofa or bed where texture is part of the room’s look. The hidden zipper and machine-washable care information add practical details for removable covers, though customer reports show that zipper and fabric experiences vary.

Better avoided if you need pillow inserts included, or if consistent feedback on durability and zipper function is essential to your decision. For a lower-commitment refresh of existing pillows, the two-cover format keeps the purchase focused on the decorative outer layer, for a complete pillow replacement, you would need to account for inserts separately.
