Cricut Permanent Vinyl, 10-Sheet Sampler

If you make your own labels, decals, or small décor projects, this Cricut permanent vinyl sampler gives you ten colors to work with without buying a separate roll for each one.

The set includes one 12 in x 12 in sheet each in pink, red, yellow, green, blue, purple, white, black, silver, and gold. That variety is useful when a project calls for a few colors rather than a large amount of just one.

If you prioritize having more colors ready for mixed designs, the sampler makes sense, if you prefer to repeat one design across a larger surface, a single-color roll may be a better fit.

Where it shines

The main appeal is flexibility for small-to-medium crafting jobs: cut a name label, weed away the excess vinyl, and apply the design to a flat surface such as a window or wall. The listing also names mailboxes, cars, and DIY projects as possible uses, while describing the vinyl as ideal for indoor use. That distinction matters: strong adhesion and durability are useful, but the product details don’t specify an outdoor rating or weather resistance.

It’s designed for Cricut Smart Machines and follows a straightforward cut, weed, and apply process. The description says even intricate designs separate easily, which should be helpful for lettering or detailed decals, though careful weeding still takes time. A small design can be a practical way to use the sampler before committing a sheet to a larger project.

Highlights

Ten colors provide room for contrast and personalization, including metallic silver and gold alongside the basic color selection. With one sheet per color, you can try several combinations, but there isn’t a spare sheet of a favorite color in the pack. Each sheet measures 12 in x 12 in, so plan the layout around that size rather than expecting a continuous roll.

The adhesive is described as permanent, with strong adhesion and high durability. The vinyl is also described as dishwasher-friendly, but the supplied details don’t explain which finished items or application conditions that claim covers. For anything that will see frequent washing, follow the product’s application guidance rather than assuming every surface or project will perform the same way.

Worth considering if you want a color assortment for varied decals, labels, and indoor projects. It’s not for you if you need several large cuts in one color, or if a clearly stated exterior-use rating is essential. On the spec sheet, the focus is broad project use, not detailed guidance for every surface or environment.

Best use cases

This set is most useful when color choice matters more than volume: for example, making a handful of differently colored labels for storage bins, or adding a small name decal to a smooth, flat surface. It can also suit someone learning the cut-and-weed workflow, since there are multiple colors to try. For a wall-sized design or repeated batches, a larger amount of a single color is the more practical approach.

Is it worth it?

The sampler earns its place when you want to test several colors across different projects and can work within one 12 in x 12 in sheet per color. It offers a simple route from a cut design to an applied decal, with the convenience of a permanent adhesive and a broad range of listed uses. The tradeoff is limited depth: ten colors sound versatile, but each appears only once, and the indoor-use positioning leaves outdoor performance unclear. Choose it for varied, flat-surface crafting, skip it when project size, repeat quantities, or confirmed weather resistance matter more than color variety.
