Carson Dellosa Bulletin Board Borders 36-foot Roll

Quick overview

Teachers and anyone putting together a classroom or office display may appreciate a simple way to give board edges a consistent finish. This Carson Dellosa border is black, scalloped paper trim intended for bulletin boards and other display surfaces.

One roll measures 36 feet long and 2.25 inches wide. The paper is described as thick but flexible, and can be cut or layered for a dimensional look.

Picture a row of student work on a corkboard: the scalloped edge adds a defined frame without taking attention away from the posters. It makes sense if you want a reusable-looking decorative style for displays you refresh through the year.

Fit and sizing

The roll is 36 feet x 2.25 inches, so the width creates a narrow border rather than a broad background. That distinction matters if you’re choosing between trim for outlining a display and paper meant to cover a larger area. Black can also make colorful posters stand out, while the scalloped shape gives the edge more detail than a plain strip.

It’s listed for whiteboards, corkboards, posterboard, lockers, and classroom or office décor. Keep in mind that the amount needed depends on the dimensions and layout of your display, you can’t estimate coverage accurately without that measurement. If you’re framing several boards, consider their combined edges rather than looking only at the length of one roll.

Tips for day-to-day use

The trim can be cut to suit a board and layered to add dimension. For a tidy display, plan where the border will meet at corners before cutting, then use shorter pieces where needed. A single continuous run may look simpler, while layered sections create a more decorative edge. The source doesn’t specify how the border attaches, so check that separately if you need a particular mounting method.

Compared with choosing a basic straight strip, the scalloped profile gives a display a more finished, classroom-decor look. A plain edge may suit projects where a minimal outline is the priority, this roll is better suited to someone who wants the trim itself to contribute some visual detail. Not the best choice if your main need is a wide sheet of black paper or a border with a different shape.

Practical doubts

How much trim is included? One roll, measuring 36 feet long and 2.25 inches wide.

Can it be used on a whiteboard or corkboard? Those surfaces are listed, along with posterboard and lockers. The product details don’t specify an attachment method.

Can the border be customized? The paper can be cut and layered, which lets you adjust the length and create added dimension for a display.

Buying verdict

Choose this roll if black scalloped trim suits your display and its 2.25-inch width works for the edge you want to frame. The cut-and-layer approach gives you some flexibility for classroom boards, posters, or office décor, and the 36-foot length is a useful detail when planning a project. If you need broad coverage, a different paper format will be more suitable, if you need to know exactly how it mounts, that information isn’t provided here.
