Coop Home Goods COMIN18JU056110 Extra Oomph AC Pillow Fill, Gel-Infused Foam

The 7.5"L x 7"W Extra Oomph AC is a compact bag of gel-infused memory foam and poly fill for adjusting a pillow’s feel. It is designed as an extra refill for the Coop Eden pillow.

The blend is intended to add support and airflow while letting you change your pillow’s height and firmness. The manufacturer describes it as suitable for use with other pillows, too.

That flexibility is useful if your pillow needs a top-up or a different feel, but the listed bag dimensions and 6.4-ounce weight do not specify how much loft it will add to a particular pillow.

What to know

This refill combines gel-infused memory foam with microfiber/poly fill. Its purpose is practical rather than decorative: add some filling to a pillow, remove some, or adjust the amount until the pillow feels closer to your preference. The product is specifically designed for the Eden pillow, though the manufacturer says it can also be used with other pillows.

The listing describes the filling as hypoallergenic and says it is GREENGUARD Gold and CertiPUR-US certified. These certifications may matter to shoppers who consider materials and emissions when choosing bedding. The product is a refill, not a complete pillow, so it only makes sense if you already have a pillow to fill.

Buyer feedback is mixed on how much filling the bag provides. Some customers describe the result as soft and fluffy and say it makes the Eden pillow feel firmer. Others expected a larger bag or more foam, and some were disappointed with the amount. That difference in expectations is worth weighing when you are deciding whether a small refill will be enough for your pillow.

Size & fit

The listed item dimensions are 7.5"L x 7"W, and the item weight is 6.4 ounces. These measurements describe the refill listing, not the size of a finished pillow or a guaranteed increase in pillow height. No fill volume or expected loft change is provided, so the result will depend on the pillow and how much filling you add.

It makes sense if you own an Eden pillow that has flattened or you want to fine-tune a pillow’s firmness in small increments. It may also suit someone who wants to experiment with adding fill rather than replacing a pillow outright. Better avoided if you need a specified volume of foam or want to know in advance that one bag will restore a particular pillow to a certain height, the available details do not establish that.

How to use it

Open the pillow’s zipper, add a little filling, and adjust the amount to suit your preferred height and firmness. The adjustable approach is more flexible than replacing the whole pillow, since you can add or remove fill as you go. For example, someone who finds an Eden pillow flatter than desired can add some filling, then reassess its feel before adding more.

The listing gives a zipper as the closure type and describes the refill as firm. It does not provide a recommended amount to add at once, so making gradual adjustments is a sensible way to avoid adding more than you want. The product is intended for indoor use and for memory foam pillow applications.

Should you buy it?

This is a targeted refill for shoppers who want to adjust an existing pillow rather than buy a new one. Its gel-infused memory foam and poly fill, certification information, and adjustable use give it a clear role, especially for an Eden pillow. However, buyer comments vary on comfort and usefulness, and a recurring concern is that the bag feels smaller or contains less fill than expected. If the amount of filling is your main deciding factor, the listed weight is more useful than assuming the bag will fully refresh a pillow. Choose it for incremental adjustment, consider a larger or quantity-specified refill if you need a substantial, predictable increase in loft.
