Goose Feather and Down Pillows, King Size

Technical details

These king-size pillows are for sleepers who want a soft surface with more structure than a feather-and-down fill alone may provide. Each one measures 20 x 36 inches, and the set includes two. Goose down fiber and goose feather fiber form the outer layers, while a memory foam core is intended to help the pillow hold its shape. The cover is a cotton blend with a 600-thread-count construction, a downproof layer, and a gusseted edge. The materials are OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified.

The listed feel is medium firm with soft support, so the construction aims for a cushioned top with a steadier center. That combination is not the same as an all-down pillow: shoppers specifically looking for a uniform feather-and-down fill may prefer a different design. No loft or height is given, so predicting how high it will support your head is difficult without that measurement.

Getting the most from it

The 20 x 36-inch format is made for king bedding and is described as fitting most king pillowcases. It can also suit a guest room when you want a matching pair rather than buying pillows individually. Before choosing, consider how you like your head and neck positioned. A pillow’s stated firmness does not tell you its exact height or how it will feel for your sleep position, and those details are not provided here.

It suits you if you want a soft, hotel-style look and like the idea of feather-and-down fibers around a shape-holding center. Not the best choice if you want a pillow made entirely from natural down or need a specific loft for a particular sleep position. The gusseted edge gives the pillow a defined profile, but it does not replace checking that your pillowcase fits comfortably.

Usage tips

The pillows are listed as machine washable. The care directions specify a gentle cycle with cold water, followed by tumble drying on low until completely dry. That final step matters: the instructions call for the pillows to be fully dry before use. A pillowcase can help keep the covers fresh between washes.

They arrive compressed, so give them a gentle pat and fluff after opening, then allow time for them to expand. For a practical first-night setup, place one on the bed after it has had time to regain its shape, add its king pillowcase, and see whether the medium-firm, soft-support feel matches your usual sleeping position. The listing does not specify an expansion time, so avoid assuming it will reach its full shape immediately.

Practical doubts

What is inside each pillow? The outer layers use goose down fiber and goose feather fiber, with a memory foam core. The listing does not give the proportions of each material.

Does the set include two pillows? Yes. The product is sold as a set of two, with each pillow measuring 20 x 36 inches.

Can they go in the washer? The care directions say machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water, then tumble dry on low until completely dry.

When it makes sense

Choose this pair if you want king-size pillows with a soft outer feel, a more structured center, and care instructions that allow machine washing. The blend of fill materials is the main reason to consider it over a traditional feather-and-down-only pillow, it may be a less fitting purchase if you want a single-material fill or need precise height information before buying. For a guest bed or a coordinated king setup, the two-pillow format is straightforward. For a very specific support preference, the missing loft details make it harder to know whether the shape will suit you.
