Cielsa Dawn cad7b0eb-4384-498a-b497-14a9c10a4cf4 Door Lock Set, Matte Black

For front and back entry doors that need matching keyed access, this Cielsa Dawn lockset pairs an entry lever with a single-cylinder deadbolt. The two sets are keyed alike, so the same key operates both locks from outside. Reversible handing suits left- or right-handed doors. A matte black finish gives the hardware a consistent look across entry points.

Everyday use

Use the lever and deadbolt together on residential or commercial exterior doors, or on interior doors where a keyed lockset is appropriate. From outside, the key operates both the lever lock and deadbolt, from inside, a thumb turn operates the deadbolt. With the sets keyed alike, one key works across the included locksets, reducing the need to manage separate keys for each matching door.

The reversible design accommodates either left- or right-handed door configurations, making it easier to select a matching set for different entryways. The adjustable latch backset covers 2-3/8-inch to 2-3/4-inch positions, and the lockset fits doors 1-3/8 inches to 1-3/4 inches thick. Confirm those measurements against the door before installation. The product information describes installation with a door and a set of tools, a single person can install it, with an estimated installation time of 20 minutes.

Pros

The practical advantage is having a lever and deadbolt in one coordinated setup, with keyed-alike access across the two sets. That makes the product useful when fitting both a front and a back entry, rather than choosing separate locksets with different keys. The metal construction and matte black finish provide a straightforward, cohesive hardware choice for doors where both appearance and keyed entry matter.

Buyers commonly praise the finish and describe installation as easy. Feedback on durability is mixed, however: some customers consider the hardware sturdy, while others report breakage or a deadbolt that sticks or jams. Some also mention missing screws. These are reported experiences rather than a guarantee of how an individual set will perform, but they make smooth lock operation and the supplied installation parts sensible points to check as the hardware is fitted.

What matters most

Fit and operation are the key selection points. The stated door-thickness range is 1-3/8 inches to 1-3/4 inches, with an adjustable 2-3/8-inch to 2-3/4-inch backset latch. Its reversible handing supports left- or right-handed doors, while the outside key cylinder and inside deadbolt thumb turn provide different ways to operate the lock from each side.

The keyed-alike arrangement is especially useful when the same household or staff need access to more than one entry door without carrying separate keys for each lockset. Compared with buying individual door hardware one entry at a time, this paired approach keeps the finish and keying consistent across front and back doors. Its modern style and matte black finish suit a coordinated exterior hardware update, while the lever design gives a direct handle for everyday entry.

Final verdict

Choose this Cielsa Dawn set when you want two matching entry locksets with a lever, single-cylinder deadbolt, reversible handing, and keyed-alike access. Its fit range and adjustable backset help identify whether it suits the intended doors, and the matte black metal finish brings a unified look to front and back entry points. For a paired door update centered on shared-key convenience, it combines the core entry hardware in one coordinated set.
